I bought the pattern. After buying the colours she listed, they don’t really match the ones she used in the video the as she uses a different brand and tries to match it to DMC. I ended up using 225 for the pink flowers, 3348 for the light green buds, and 839 for the branches. Those colours are closer to her end result. Hope this helps someone!

Thanks! That’s what I thought :( I chose this pattern because I liked the colors, but the branches are green instead of brown, and this pink is way too bright. It’s funny because I didn’t have enough threads and reordered some and I also decided to choose another pink, in case I want to do this pattern again, and I chose 225 too:)

I prefer only using 3 strands, you get more out of your floss that way and I find it's a little easier to work with

Well - the stitches she uses are very basic and simple. It's the way she uses them and more than that the refined design that makes most of the appeal of her work. It's more like painting with thread than advanced embroidery. I'd say if you take this design and the time to work meticulous, you'd be very likely to achieve beautiful results. The rest is practice. ;)

hunny bunny I hope you don’t mind if I reply. If you want to stitch on unstable fabric (like t-shirt material) you’d probably want to iron on some interfacing to the back or line it with some other fabric first.
