I'll never forget the supporters applauding the team following that 1-4 Chelsea game. It really felt like the identity Ange was instilling in the club became tangible in that moment. Great lists!

It certainly was! And you’re right, pretty much none were - hence why I’m such a fan

For me personally the 3-2 Brighton was the worst, I couldn't think of anything football related without feeling sick for days afterwards 😭😭

Slot inherited a veryvstrong team whose long term coach decided to stop. Spurs were an ageing team who had sacked coach after coach chasing elusive success. They also lost their best player. I think he's done ok with what he's had to work with.

Good point. We’ll never know how Soot would have fared had he taken the Spurs job, but it wouldn’t have been like he has at Liverpool

Must be amazing cover spurs over this postecoglou era. It's like a Netflix drama series.

His total inability to get any consistency out of the squad would for me indicate that he will not make a 100 games in charge. What's the point of beating Man City 4 nil at the Etihad when you drop 5 points at home to Fulham and Ipswich and fail against Roma? He just seems to be tactically clueless for every other game we play. I really hope I am wrong and he manges to win a Cup for us, but he isn't a long term solution imho. And sorry Ange prove me wrong but I am not being 'entertained'.

I guess the point is they are hopefully on a journey to the point where they will become consistent, there will be fewer of the poor results against alleged weaker teams, and their high ceiling to beat top teams (when others can’t) will take them to new levels. Whether you think that will actually happen is up to you

@@TomBarclayjournalist I would ask what is the real Tottenham, the team that can raise their levels occasionally against teams like a declining Man City or the team that shuffles and stumbles to such poor results and performances in the same 4 week period against Ipswich, Roma and Fulham? Who has any confidence about which team will turn up in the next 2 games against Bournemouth and Chelsea? As for the manager he hasn't been at any club for more than 3 seasons and it doesn't look like it will be any different with Spurs when you look at the results he is struggling to get out of the squad. Hope I am wrong and he wins all the cups we are in, but I sreiously doubt it.

I think your reservations reflect a lot across the fanbase. But they’re still going ok Europe and in the CC, decent position in the league, with a difficult injury list, let’s see where he takes them…
