Yeah I agree. This was always going to be a decent rebuild and Ange has done a pretty good job in less then two years. Plus the last few months we've had 10+ players out injured and any of the top 6 would struggle as well if they were in the same spot. Spurs will be better in the long term from this season. All the young players have been doing an awesome job and have all gotten vital match time in European, FA and Carabao cups as well as the PL. This season has highlighted how much we need reinforcements as our squad is a bit thin. Levy and the board should have given Ange a blank cheque book at the start or even next transfer window and I guarantee we'd be a top 4 team consistently with a very high chance in the cups.

Skriniar is not an Ange type defender. 90% of the defenders out there are not suited for Ange ball. It probably makes more sense to buy anchor mids and convert them to play as CBs just like Mascherano at Barca back then. That's why Archie Gray can do well when Dragusin struggles.

Spurs are the 4th highest spend in the league with transfers. Ange has been supported and has bought badly. Ill-thought out and badly planned tactics. Pushing a high line not since seen Ossie which causes injures within the team, and has no plan B. The record in the last year is the team is in relegation form. Ange always seem to blame the players, though never seems to take on any responsibility himself. Experiment gone wrong and missed out on Graham Potter.

He needs to dedicate many millions to buy 4-5 players who have experience and a decent amount of quality. Re: of injuries etc, there is no excuse for us to be in 14th (joint 15th) in the league. The Levy smokescreen just masks the fact that no matter how much you back Ange, he will not succeed. His football philosophy and tactics are primitive and for some bizarre reason he believes his own hype like he’s achieved something of note in football. He won trophies with Celtic, wow what an achievement. He did well with Koala Bear United and Pot Noodle City in leagues no one has heard off. Nice bloke with amusing anecdotes but he’s a fraud at this level and he’s been found out. Any other manager would be sacked, he has had a lot of grace due to the injuries. We had poor results last season and this season with a fully fit team.

So, the club's statement is saying: 'now that we're in January - the only time we have to do anything tangibly significant, really, about our injury woes, we'll do our utmost to help Ange'. And, if an earthquake happened in London tomorrow, the club will say exactly along the same lines of having a structure in place to help Ange. 0:31 - The biggest thing being overlooked is Lange didn't have a hand in appointing Postecoglou and that's part of his job. Levy ran with the appointment four months before Lange started. I honestly don't think enough due diligence was done. A bit like when Nuno was appointed and then sacked because it was Paratici's choice. Gattuso was also a Paratici choice. Between Levy and Paratici they don't know how to pick a manager. The injuries at Celtic were well documented. As was Ange's uncompromising tactics. Unfortunately I wholeheartedly believe Ange is out of his depth in this league that requires a much more sophisticated approach.

Now, the board is giving a manager the backing and the time to sort it all out. That's what needs to happen, and that's what is happening. It's taken that time because they aren't football guys, and they have just realised Poch was right, but it's what needs to happen and probably what Conte was eluding to in his rant. You guys talk with a tone that suggests Tottenham is still considered a top club by elite players like Mbuemo and Skriniar. The club's reputation is in shambles and we need to be honest about that. It might not be an issue about whether Ange isn't getting backed by Levy but rather players don't want to ruin their market value by playing for Tottenham. Harry Kane is the only player in Tottenham's recent history who maintained quality, everyone else has regressed. The only way the club can atone itself is through the young players that are hungry for greatness and glory. This is going to be a long rebuild, so buckle up.

You need lighting speed in the back starting & coming of the bench plus at least two consistent goal scorers ...a dog in the box to play Big Anges style. No one esle is playing his style? right? no one right ? because for most teams they can't afford that many quality players & it's very hard to play that way consistently. In the premier league is too fast.. counter attacking teams shred you in the back if you lack speed or if they know how to play the angles you need consistently fit players to make it work but it's difficult. Angie's got to tweak the style some especially if we get a goal up. Yesterday that should NOT have been a corner that ball did not come off Porro that changed the game can't give Arsenal with that quality that kind of quailty they have the. EDGE.

I'm a Spurs fan, but we have to accept that this club is 100% blacklisted in the eyes of potential managers & players (signings). We are at the stage of slim pickings, because Levy/ENIC are known as a business that hire people & expect miracles with very little resources. They also exploit clubs in financial ruin with the money they offer their players. Levy/ENIC have run out of targets that are clueless enough to be a part of this football club. Until they move on, our club will forever be a club that manager's & players will deliberately avoid because they've observed the many who have come here and seen the club regress rather than improve. Even most of our youth players run down their contracts and sign for other clubs to have a fruitful footballing career. It's very sad to accept, but worse to see. We're done out here.

Rebuilds don't/ cannot happen in 1 or 2 seasons. To rebuild to have a consistently successful team takes time. There is no quick fix. Trust the (slow) process.

swap romero for skriniar. not sure skriniar wants to come but with skriniar and van de ven we are going to be strong. new goalie is really good. id have spence taking poros spot and have poro rotating with our wingers and poro filling in when need rotation but a big match not sure id be fully confident he can defensively solid. poro does some absolute awesome attacking display. i love poro

I’m not generally a fan that is polarised with one way of thinking but I think this board has passed its sell by date and can’t operate in modern football.
