Davies has put in a handful of bad performances in his entire Tottenham career. He’s never amazing but he almost always puts in a really solid performance. I get so tired of people criticizing him all the time and roping him in whenever there’s something to complain about

I am here :) Ange Out this game changes nothing - we always beat City and they are going through a rough patch. The australian fraud lost to Crystal Palace, Ipswich, butchered the game against Brighton, drew to Leicester, barely won against a championship side, got outplayed by Galatasaray. This game changes nothing. ANGE OUT :)

I met an Arsenal fan at 5pm and he was gloating that they had won 3-0 and we had to face Man City away where they were unbeaten for 50 odd games. He was convinced Spurs would lose at least 3 nil, which would be his idea of a perfect weekend ! Ho ho ho ! I notice he is keeping a very low profile today.
@Donnachaidh093 күн бұрын
First in goals, second in goal difference and third best defence. Sure looks like a potential top 4 team to me. Just a bit more consistency against teams we should beat and the season could end well. As to the haters we have not been lucky but the exact opposite, for example dominating arsenal and they sneak out a win.

@bb59793 күн бұрын
This is the reason for sticking to one style of play, the more they play it and suss out what they need to be doing in certain situations and the experience of that the better their success rate will be, its like anything in practice, the more you do something and work hard to become better at it the better your success rate will be. I truly think the only thing we lack at this stage is getting fired up for those games we are “expected” to win. We are capable of making enough chances to win games and defending well enough to keep victory in reach from the number of chances we get so our tactics are solid for the premier league regardless of what some dumbass pundits and social media commentators say..
@ricky55383 күн бұрын
You still look negative. It's not that - it's Ange having time to turn the bad players into superstars like Werner and Johnson and Kulusevki - all rejects at one stage.

Happy to put my hand up and say I got this wrong. I thought it would take a miracle for Spurs to not lose let alone win the game 4-0. Respectfully to all Spurs fans you deserved the victory and should enjoy this moment, but I do not believe that any of my criticism of Ange's style and some Spur's players has been unwarranted. The Ipswich/Crystal P/Brighton/Newcastle/Arsenal/Leicester games cannot just be deleted from the memory because of one game. Do it again for me please. Do it in your next 5 games, heck do it for the rest of the season. The criticism is around consistency and Spurs fans need to take it upon themselves to demand consistency from the players. The worst thing that could happen from this result is everyone rides high and then doesn't show up in the next game, because as I have detailed in my previous comments, Spurs problems seem to come down to mentality and psychology.

Fair play for apologising. Respect. but nah mate you were just wrong about ange. Dude is one of the worlds best managers and that was clear long before he got to the prem or even to Scotland. None of us should doubt the man. He's proved himself (and proved his system works) enough, long, long ago. Backing him and trusting his choices, even if they seem silly to us, is just what you eventually learn to do, when watching his career success over nearly two decades now.

@@onniroy4975 Reserve judgement!? Lmao he's been a manager for almost 20 years, and has won top level trophies on three different continents! The adjudgment is in... He's one of the best managers in the bloody world, and has been for years to anyone paying attention to asian or international football. I know what you mean of course, but like, football is football. Ange doesn't need to prove anything to anyone imo. He's proved himself long ago, only question left now is: how long it'll take him to win trophies here too? AND whether spurs fans (and levy) have the patience and commitment to seeing the process through to the winning-trophies stage.

I think we play better when Mickey is out cause we are forced to defend deeper and attack on the break - the high line we play with two inverted full backs is all too predictable and far too easy for opponents to get behind us
