The demon that beat up Angel actually chose not to kill him and turned to face the crowd, causing them to go quiet, before the rest of the demons came rushing out. So that was a moment of honorable behavior from him, he didn't know that a breakout was going to happen when he made the decision.

I've watched this episode many times, and I never realized until today watching your reaction that the name Cordy gave to Wesley was his own name backwards. "Detective Yelsew." I didn't notice it until I saw your subtitles, lol!

The Ring was another good Angel episode. The metaphor here showing the abomination of modern day slavery and exploitation for financial gain. Great to see Cordelia and Wesley teaming up pretending to Police Officers to free Angel, and then Angel freeing the captive Demons at the end leaving them to their own free will, basically saying everyone deserves a second chance. Of course we are introduced to the despicable Lilah from W&H.
