Angel Baby - Jeanette Jurado (full version) HQ

In 1995 the lovely Jeanette Jurado, of girl group Exposé, was given a cameo role in the movie 'My Family', playing Rosie Hamlin of Rosie and the Originals during a dancehall sequence. Jurado's version of Hamlin's classic 1960 doo wop hit 'Angel Baby' is one of the few cover versions of a classic from that era that equals or exceeds the original in quality.

Growing up hearing Expose on the radio and watching them on MTV, I've had a crush on Jeanette since I was a kid. Man she's gorgeous and has a fantastic voice. This is the first time I've heard her rendition of this song and it does not disappoint!

This beautiful and amazing woman was part of the huge 1980's girl group, Exposé, which had 3 or 4 hit albums and a long string of hits! She also had a few acting jobs and did some solo work as well! She did an excellent job on this recording 👏

First time I heard this song was when I was a kid in 1991 when Angelica did her version of the song which I think she did a great job. Then find out it was an oldies song by Rosie then hear this version done by Jeanette which I love to! I love Expose’ & Jeanette has such a beautiful voice, all the versions I’ve heard of this song are great!

Angel Baby is my favorite song, but I have to use in my Mother's Day playlist. I listened to it when I was 5 years old in 2012 to 2013 in Texas Children's Hospital. I love C major songs with piano solo. It was similar to the songs, "What's The Use Of Presents?" "All Out Of Love" "Colors Of The Rainbow" "Shine" and "We've Got Love" and the movies and specials, "Arthur's Perfect Christmas" and "Signing Time: My Favorite Things:" I love it!!

After Rosie and the Originals, this is the best imitation. It's true, Rosie and the Originals Angel Baby has kind of a garage band sound but that's part of what makes it great Jeanette has a great voice and can hit all the notes unlike so many others who have tried. But there are other versions that I also like.
