Thank you for watching! I was lucky to be nearby when they were spawning and laying eggs. I have a lot more footage of the fry, and yes, I found that interesting too, the 'normal' looking fry. I love that they coddle the fry for quite a while. They will gather a heap of straying fry into their mouths and then spit them out where they want them to stay. it was funny to watch.

Absolutely beautiful angels! Very nice! Do the babies survive with the substrate? What kind of substrate? My eggs keep turning white after 2nd day.

Hi. The fry would probably survive but my tank was mixed, so hey kind of ended up in the food chain. I found that there needs to be good water flow around the eggs, and the parents need to be there to help keep any dead eggs out of the healthy ones. They do a very good job of fanning the eggs and removing any 'bad' stuff that may harm the eggs.

@chisaquaticvibe6524 Thanks! I don't have a tank anymore. I live in a rooftop tent on a ute. Yeah, so an aquarium isn't possible just now. However, the property I'm staying on has a pond and waterfall. I'm currently eradicating the cane toads so the native frogs can breed.

My Pair always shy away and spawning when I sleep…LOL new pair first got 200 eggs only three eggs hatched and being eaten by the couple. Yesterday I got second spawning after 14 days…wish me luck!
