As a Marine, who served in Vietnam, thank you for your wonderful song to our fallen soldiers. Your dynamic voice does justice to your lyrics. God bless America and to those who serve. Thanks again for writing this beautiful song. A Patriot...

in my country (Finland) the official policy regarding the burial of the Fallen Heroes has been to bring them back to their home of record for a funeral with full military honours, regardless of cost, since December 1939, to this day while the Finnish-Russian border is essentially closed, the Finnish government keeps funding the volunteer efforts to go to the battlefields from 1939-1944 to look for the remains of the fallen, to identify the discovered remains & to bring them home for burial with the appropriate honours, for the American fallen the cost of bringing them home is far greater & I salute the men and women who are doing the work.

My dad is a WWII vet. Yesterday (July 4) we were at an air show and a lady walked up to thank him for his service. Choked him up- it was the first time in his 88 years someone had done that. Nowadays, too few people truly understand how grateful they should be, for living in a country worry-free of war (at home of course). They don't understand that it is our Heroes that pay the ultimate sacrifice for many of us. I thank every member of our Nation's Finest - no matter the Branch, no matter if (s)he was aboard the Angel Flight. God Bless those who Serve, Served, and will Serve. I could only wish for more true tribute songs out there ....

My Daddy was a USMC Photographer during Korea, was always home on leave when his chances for deployment came up but always talked about going. Darden heard the story from our commander and contacted Radney about helping finish it. I was asked to assist on the video to ensure it honored the Soldiers. It was filmed at our hanger, the RR44 memorial park, and then at the Ft. Worth JRB. Proceeds benefit the TX Nat'l Guard Family Support Foundation. Hope this changes your opinion.
