Angel Flight----SSG Shawn Born of Newport News, VA was serving with HHD, 393 Transportation Detachment
when he passed away at the age of 34 on April 21, 2024 in Newport News, VA.
He was Born on April 19, 1990 in Sacramento, CA.
Shawn graduated from Del Campo High School in 2008. At the age of 21 Shawn enlisted in the United States Army. Shawn valued his service highly and attained the rank of Staff Sergeant. As part of his service he obtained many awards including the Army Good Conduct Medal (4), National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and Korean Defense Service Medal just to name a few.
