I said the same thing! (Until i realized she had to take it down from Ab-major to G. It's fine. The voice fades. However, it's important that the song be in A-flat because Ab has that cold, sort of lonely feeling. (Same reason Somewhere Over the Rainbow is also in Ab-flat. Blue. Or even Les Paul & Mary Ford's "Song in Blue.")

Back in the 80s, I was skiing in Crested Butte. It was the last run of a terrific day on the slopes. As we came down the mountain, we heard live music coming from below. At the base of the run was a giant bar called The Rafters which had a large 2nd story outdoor deck that looked over the hill to watch the skiers coming down. Shussing to a stop, we were thrilled to see a Juice Newton concert happening from the deck for us all to enjoy! As the sun slowly retreated over the gorgeous mountains, my buddy and I danced in our skis on the snow, sipping the wine from my boda bag, as Juice and her band sang to us in the crisp mountain air. THAT was an afternoon I won't forget.

I was ten years old when I was in the Philippines, 1978 . The hotel I stayed at with my parents. The Bayview park hotel , had juice Newton playing on the lobby speakers . Day after day after day . I'm going back to the Philippines 45 years later , that will be this Christmas and I hope that song is still playing , when I walk in the lobby

I saw her open for Alabama at the Cincinnati Gardens around 1983. Wow what a night that was. At the end of the concert Alabama sat on the edge of the stage and shook hands with anyone and would talk to anyone. They had just come out with the Christmas song Snowing in the Pines is what I recall but I won't swear to the title but that was a line in it. I won't forget that night. Also I had a brand new Datsun 280ZX and the sound system in that car was unbelievable and I played Juice's song over and over. Why can't America make a sound system like that and put it in a car? Juice's singing has nor changed one bit in all the years and wow does she look great.
