ome of my favorite late discoveries. when i firsr heard this song i remember laying in front of the sound system and watching day turn to night....and amazing writter amd her voice.....all i can say is that it gives me hope....even in the sadness.

This is what I would like her to return to - these fantastically literate and intense folk songs with her beautiful voice and playing. The more produced and glossy stuff she has done of late - though also quite well done- is not the style that I love best for her. Like her punkish rock stuff too but this and sky opened up and iota are probably my favorites. She almost has to go trancelike to get the song across... in the zone.
