Do you remember the way that it used to be? I waited for you Kept on searching with me Feeling free Wanting to see each other all the time Those were the days Nothing to lose and nothing to find See how you're laughing with those you don't know as well I hear you saying I'm the one but I wish I could tell Ain't it funny how time can make you realize and realize And realize But I'll take all of it Don't want to leave it behind I'll take all of it If it's only real in my mind Real in my mind Real in my mind Will you ever Will you ever know the same love that I've known? Will you ever Will you ever know the same love that I've known? Will you ever Will you ever know the same love that I've known? Will you, will you, will you? Even when it's all on my own All on my own All on my own Do you remember the way that it used to be? I waited for you You kept on searching with me Feeling free Wanting to see each other all the time Those were the days Nothing to lose and nothing to find

She looks so sad... as if reciting these lyrics make her recall everything that sparked them.

Listen to Pops. Incredibly sad song too.

I’m in awe of the drummer on this number. It’s gotta take incredible skill and concentration to maintain the complex rhythm without overpowering everyone. He is a master!

Will you ever know the same love that I know ? Love you, love you, love you, even when it’s all on my own -

This is another wonder by a great group of musicians. I love them. Totally sublime! It’s the first tune I ever heard by them and I’ll never forget it. You shouldn’t either!

LOVELY, Gorgeous Song, Voice and Melody Combination. PURE TALENT, PURE CREATIVITY. A Bit Sad and Nostalgic but at the same time relaxing

I love how she's so still when she sings, barely moves or even changes expression. Instead, all the emotion's exclusively in the voice

Band looks and sounds remarkably like many local bands I saw as the 90s when I would travel around the midwest and southwest. (That's a really good thing.)

I don't know why the begging of this song reminds me to out getting ribs - king krule. BTW this song is amazing.
@reaIGarfield6 жыл бұрын
just remove the cymbals and add reverb to the opening chord and you get out getting ribs

Leon Tomalik Yah, snare's ridiculous lol

He should have muffled his snare. It sound like shit regardless, but it's also just too loud.
@landonitron5 жыл бұрын
@@doorsheets2637 yeah, I immediately heard that terrible sound. But I love this guy's drumming otherwise
@adriansalgado47532 жыл бұрын
No way, love the loud crispness of the snare. Its a great contrast to the other sounds

this sounds like it's straight off of The Ooz, or, at least in the beginning
I heart it directly from her former manager and lover. I grew up with Stewart, and apparently he's off doing something else...no longer with Angel Olsen ;(

That snare is so fucking obnoxious.

Thought this was gonna be a 'Cream' cover - you know "Those were the days (yes they were) those were the days!" So disappointed!

she's a better musician than she is a barber. She should stop trying to cut her own hair. Embarrassing.
