Jimi Hendrix is generally considered the greatest guitarist but his songwriting doesn’t get enough attention. He was a lyrical and musical genius.

An often overlooked classic, by Rod. Just one of several dozen he's had in his remarkable 55-year career!

This was sadly after Ronnie Lane quit. Rod was going on to a bigger solo career , then Ronnie Wood joined the Stones permanently, In a few years Kenny joined the Who... Ian starts backing the Stones.... And the Faces are but a memory .

Such a great performance. I love seeing all the fans in the audience waving their Stewart tartan scarves. I've got mine because I am that geeky fan girl. 🎼🖤🎶

I mean they were Faces at this point. Not Rod Stewart AND. That being said, maybe the most criminally underrated band of all time.

I think you are incorrect. This was done in 75 I believe Ronnie Lane quit in 73 this was done just before Ron Wood quit to join the rolling stones

Totally agree with you But this was not orchestrated by Rod he was just as upset about it as the others I think it was in America when they were all taken back when they were announced as Rod Stewart & The Faces It was cruel & thoughtless & the beginning of the end of one of the greatest British bands Could you have imagined Mick Jagger & the Stones Faces were a force, just genius

The only thing wrong with the Faces was that Rod thought it was all about him , and he was the star , the one that everybody came to see ,and it wasn't that at all , to me and many others who saw them loads of times , it was the music , and he was just a singer , nothing special either

It was the early 70’s I had t shirts with huge bell sleeves and flowers on! Rod said in an interview in 1975 he’d never owned a pair of jeans he was a beatnik, a mod etc same as Bolan you never saw him in jeans/t shirt
