Oddly enough when Angel does the acoustic solos, it reminds me of Al DiMeola. It's that clean, fast picking. Amazing stuff. Just a TON of atmosphere. It's open and airy.

You just gave me another reason for being my all-time favorite guitarist. First off, you're a virtuoso with a unique sound and style of playing. Second, you are very humble when it comes to your playing and from what I've heard, an all-around great person. And now you're one of the most diverse players when it comes to genre. I'm sure it was tough stepping down from metal and being in a more Latin style that took balls, but you made it work magnificently. In my opinion you have the most beautiful phrasing and progressions. But you don't just play those beautiful guitars, you make them sing and make music with them. I wonder what's the fewest notes it would take for someone to tell a riff is an Angel riff? I think I could tell in two bars. Very expressive sound, even across genres. Like even the keys in the intro sound like an Angel line, and it's a different instrument entirely.
