Exactly what I've been saying everyday for the last decade... that the reason Hmong men have multiple wives is because of Hmong women. No one can force women to marry a married man but Hmong women will happily marry a married man knowing full well they will be chastised. The 1st wife can't divorce either cuz she feels she's nothing without a husband. Even today, married Hmong men are going to Laos to marry teen wives and bringing them to the US as a 2nd or 3rd wife and the 1st wife just moan and groan but doesn't do anything... no divorce, no reporting to immigration... even willingly fake a divorce so the US will allow the teen wife to come to the US to be the 2nd wife... and the teen wife knows full well the Hmong American is still married. So it's because of Hmong women not Hmong men. If the woman says no, then there's nothing the man can do. But a significant number of Hmong women don't care if the man is still marry so Hmong has multiple wives.

Im sorry but one thing that is hmong woman are always stressed hurt the most cause we put our husband first of everything and showed too much respect for them even tho if they are wrong or not.
