Her erratic behavior was drawing a lot of engagement for TLC so they let her be. But now, people are fed up with her behavior and TLC caught on. This is a fabricated story for their "star" to gain sympathy and draw viewers back in. This storyline of Michael cheating is fake, that voicemail sounds so fake. They more than likely forced Michael to do it so he can continue getting paid. If he doesn't get paid directly from TLC, then Angela is the one that threatened him. If he doesn't do it, she won't help him anymore.
