Something like 80% of the money saved from tax cuts will go directly to large businesses and the 1%, while the other 20% is split between the rest of the 99% of the country. The reason it passed is because the GOP knew that all they had to do was toss a few bread crumbs to poor/middle class people and they would eat it up, while keeping the lions share of it for the wealthy. Under the new tax plan, teachers can no longer write off supplies they purchase with their own money, but wealthy people get a tax break if they own a private jet...that in itself should give you an idea of who this bill is really for.

Rachanta Wallace one of them is the tax reform bill. This bill creates a new 20% small business deduction. In other words a business with $200,000 a year in annual earnings $40,000 would be completely tax free. This helps smaller businesses to better compete against big business and international competitors who currently face lower tax burdens than most small businesses. To prevent this from being abused by wealthy small businesses, like investment and accounting firms, it is only available to those making less than $315,000 a year.
