I am not worthy... I am not worthy... [Bowing, showing gratitude]. I am 70 years old. I've been cleaning things for as long as I can remember: my apartment/house, my car, my windows, my BBQ... I thought I knew a thing or two about cleaning. I knew nothing... I bought Krud Kutter and Sprayway after watching your videos. I just tried them out on things that have been really tough to clean. When I was in middle school the copier repair man suggested this to my mom who worked in the school office. She had toner on her jeans from trying to fix the machine before calling. It worked. 17 years later, I use it all the time.

Krud Kutter makes life easier. It cleans gas stoves, who-knows-what several years old, and kitchen floor tile. It is a must-have for everyone; renters and college students will get more of their deposit back. Walmart stocks it in hardware but not in cleaning supplies.

It did not start as love at first sight. But one day I saw the unexpected. My cabinets had horrible sticky grease above the stove. For Krud kutter this task was like a piece of cake. That stuff removed very old carpet glue off of 100 year old hardword floors and left them beautiful. It took a lot of elbow grease, but that stuff does do an amazing job.

I have seen that cleanser on shelves in stores among the several others. There are so many cleansers out there it is overwhelming to decide which bottle to choose . Most people just grab the bottle their mom used when they were growing up. I am definitely going to buy a bottle of this. Thanks for the tip!

Hey Angela, I have been enjoying your videos and have learned so much! Although I'm not a professional house cleaner, I recently took on the project of cleaning a home that my elderly parents purchased. Since they can't really do much cleaning themselves, I decided to get the whole house cleaned and sanitized before they move in. It has been an enormous undertaking as everything looked clean when we toured the home. but once the house was empty, I saw that everything is actually in need of a deep cleaning. Bathrooms, kitchen, walls, flooring, baseboards, blinds, ceilings, fans, banisters, doors and woodwork, appliances, windows... basically every possible surface. I have already spent many hours of my spare time and have many more to go but it's coming along. I refer back to your videos whenever and wonder what Angela would do and I have found every answer so far! I used to tackle so many things with bleach-based products, but you have shown me so many helpful products that have worked much better. Things like Bar Keepers Friend and Greased Lightening for showers, the Murphy's oil soap for woodwork and cabinets have all worked out really well. I think this Krud Kutter will be amazing to use as well. Enjoyed learning about the methods you used and products like those Mini scrub brushes you recommended have come in very useful. Just wanted you to know how well you are doing with your channel. Thanks for all your help!

I discovered this product at Lowes and bought it to clean up a rental. It is amazing! Made dirty fireplace bricks look brand new. The smoke and nicotine stains literally dripped off. Also cleaned yellow nicotine stains from an enclosed patio enclosure. It’s also awesome to use to clean greasy gas grills. However, I don’t find it that good to remove dried paint. I does remove sticky residue from labels, but you might have to scrub quite a bit. It’s my favorite all purpose cleaner!

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!! I mixed the concentrated Krud Kutter 4oz with 8oz water. Sprayed on my tile backslash, stainless steel hood, and IKEA cabinets. Perfection. The grease just wiped right off. LOVE this stuff. Thanks so much for the informative and thorough review.

Krud Kutter is a degreaser (think dish soap) If you put a degreaser on anything and didn't wash or rinse it off, it will leave a film. I'm sorry this happened to you.

I admit I'm a terrible housekeeper. I had given up trying to get the crud off my baseboards. This stuff worked amazing on my baseboards!! I don't even need to paint them now.

Used this stuff to clean sliding door tracks that had not been cleaned in 22 years… they were covered in thick black gunk. Sprayed full strength and let sit for awhile then wiped right up with paper towels! Krud Kleaner rocks!

I can not recommend this product enough. My boyfriend introduced to me and bought the gallon bottle. I used it on everything! I’ve even mixed a small amount in a bowl and spot cleaned stains on my carpet and they came right out. Out water is a little rusty ( very old house) I literally just spray this on and within a minute or so , I just have to rinse. Combining this and a magic eraser , It’s the best combo I’ve ever used. It’s safe for so many surfaces. I feel like this product is one that people will catch on to soon. It’s just amazing!

Yikes, when I hear the name "Magic Eraser" I cringe. I rue the day I ever picked one up. It has abrasives that scratch gloss finishes. Yeah, I found out the hard way... NEVER again!

One late night I made some egg rolls with that sticky, yet yummy, Asian sauce and when I was tip-toeing back down the stairs I fell a couple of steps and splashed the sauce ALLLLLL OVERRRRR the walls and carpeted stairs! Woke up the whole house! I tried getting it all up with dawn dish soap and water but noticed on the carpet that it only seemed to "work" for day - probably until it got dirty again. I USING THIS ON THOSE STAIRS TODAYYY. P.S. I'm usually not this dramatic, if you can believe that....but we just put the carpet down. :) Thanks for this!

Sorry, but not impressed. Invested in a twenty years old condo. Visually it needed a good cleaning. The amount of old hard, sticky, gunk, especially around the stove wall & wood cabinets. It is extremely difficult to remove. None of your products seems to touch it with brushes & elbow grease. I love wood but understand why some folks paint their wood cabinets. I may have to strip & refinish. I truly recommend your products for weekly or seasonal cleanings. They are extremely great for maintenance, but can't recommend for major jobs.

I apologize for any inconvenience. For tougher stains and built-up gunk, specialized cleaning methods or stronger degreasers may be necessary. Consider using products designed for heavy-duty cleaning tasks. If needed, stripping and refinishing wood cabinets can help restore their appearance like you previously mentioned. We had an older diesel pickup. The garage walls were black from exhaust. I started cleaning with bleach spray, and with power washing, which sort of worked with tons of elbow grease. Bought Krud Kutter and what a relief!! It took the exhaust right off the painted walls, still with a little scrubbing. It was a God-send!! The previously "cleaned" walls were done again, as the Krud Kutter got them completely clean!!

Krud Kutter is a degreaser and it's possible you could use it for carpets - but I don't know what kind of residue it would leave on/in the fibers. A better product and my go-to for carpet, upholstery stains for wine, coffee, blod, spit-up, slobber and other protein based stains is Blue Magic Carpet Stain/Spot Remover amzn.to/3nty9IK (You can find it cheaper at AutoZone.) But it is the best carpet stain remover I've ever found. I've been using it for 20+ years.

Test an inconspicuous area first. The dwell time is the key on finished cabinets because it is a strong degreaser that can eat through just about anything - including the finish on cabinets. Don't leave it on too long if you use it.

Can Kristen Kutter be used in a restaurant environment? Mostly can it be used on restaurants equipment that food is prepared on? I have a bud in on a heavily greased up kitchen that will require allot of elbow grease but it looks like this product may help with part of that

Krud Kutter is known as a versatile cleaner and degreaser, however, when using any cleaning product on equipment that comes into contact with food, it's important to exercise caution and follow certain guidelines. After using Krud Kutter or any cleaner on surfaces that come into contact with food, be sure to thoroughly rinse the surfaces with clean water to remove any residue. Even if the cleaner is safe for food contact, it's a good practice to minimize the chances of any residue transferring to the food

Angela Brown great. Thank you. Finding a degreaser that is safe for painted surfaces is very important. I ruined a new stove hood in my own home by using a degrease not intended for painted surfaces. Problem is the printing was so small on the bottle I could not read it, so I tried it. In one of the videos you mention the cleaning of a vacuum between customers, is there a video on that?

Andy Tube, a vintage mechanical sewing machine mechanic and restoration specialist on KZbin uses Krud Kutter to give his vintage machines a bath and cleanse the gummed up gears from years of built up grease and oil. It’s amazing how well it works. I first heard of Krud Kutter from Andy Tube.

I came to the comments to see if anyone else mentioned Andy. He's amazing and I got my 403A from 100% frozen solid not sewing at all to beautifully sewing because of him and his use of Krud Kutter. You have to be careful and not get it on the paint or finish of any kind or it causes spots but it works amazingly on the gears and insides.

I'm addicted to Crud Cutter, I use it on floor trim and door frames mainly before painting. Not only does it remove grime and nastiness it permits paint to practically glue itself to the surface. On replacement window frames also, can make them look brand new. Try not to inhale it though, a surgical mask works well

I'd contact the company you bought it from. It sounds like shipping problem. Is your floor sealed? The Krud Kutter doesn't have dyes in it but if it has spilled on wood I can see how it would darken it. It may just need to dry out. Also on the back of the bottle there will be a phone number for Rustoleum - the company that owns Krud Krutter. Calling them may shed some light on what to do next of if they have a product to lighten the wood in the event that it doesn't dry properly. I'm sorry you had this horrible experience.

I've used Krud Kutter before and it works great. I moved into a house where the previous tenant didn't clean the grease splatter off the kitchen wall next to the stove. The whole was yellow with grease residue. I bought Krud Kutter and it melted the grease right away. Left the wall sparkling. I keep a bottle or 2 of this product in my cleaning supplies. Love it!!!

Thanks for your advice to use Krud Kutter. WE have a pickled oak table. My mother-in law always read the newspaper there. The table got badly stained with newsprint. I couldn't get rid of the black, so always had to use a tablecloth. As a lark, I sprayed with Krud Kutter and wiped it clean. I couldn't believe how well it work. I've used Krud Kutter to clean floor tile, however, there was one spot in the grout that I couldn't get to come clean. The last time I used a grout-specific cleaner was over a decade ago, and I don't know what the brand was, I just know that it was amazing, and would definitely have taken care of this. I agree, I LOVE Krud Kutter. It’s is an AMAZING cleaner. Undiluted this stuff melts grease off of anything. I will never use another cleaning product again, this does everything. 😁👍 The problem is I have only found it in the hardware area of Walmart, ACE hardware, or on Amazon.

Love Krud Kutter! I stopped using as much as previously because I read it was NOT to be used on varnished surfaces. It says this on the product. Are you saying the diluted solution can be used on varnished surfaces (kitchen cabinets) but not the concentrate that is in the Krud Kutter spray bottle? I would love to use this more, on especially greasy kitchen cabinets, but didn’t want to risk damaging the finish.

Thank you for your videos. You are wonderful and I trust and appreciate your expertise. I have 2 quick questions. I need to clean *urethane* based grout on our shower floor and there's a complication. We have hard water so in addition to dirt and body crud, there's also a buildup of mineral deposits. The grout manufacturer says not to use acidic cleaners, so this makes the job much harder. What product can I use to remove mineral deposits? Aside from the mineral buildup, for addressing just shower crud, would Krud Kutter be too strong/ph too high and damage the grout? If so, which alkaline based cleaner would be safe to use on grout?

This is a great product review, but i'm confused. The spray bottle of krud kutter is concentrated, so don't buy that? Rather buy the gallon refill + empty bottles so you can do the dilution? Why is there a spray bottle of krud kutter if you can't use it straight from the spray bottle? This seems so strange :-(

If you are using a concentrate you can use the one shown in the video. But if you don't have heavy duty cleaning - buy the gallon concentrate and dilute it per the manufacturers instructions. Maintenance cleaning doesn't require full strength concentrated chemicals in most cases.

Dang, I was so excited for a minute, I have Kurd kutter I haven’t used yet, it’s down stairs with all my painting supplies. Every time I watch one of your videos I end up doing whatever it is your helping us with. A few weeks ago I watched you clean a Keurig - yep I got up and cleaned the Keurig. Vinegar and all.... Definitely looks great, did the job! My only complaint would be that I'm wondering if every other cleaner can do the same. I mean for all I know a little bit of dish soap would have worked too? What about your typical popular cleaners 409 or some Lysol or Clorox brand stuff? Maybe Simple Green or Awesome or really any APC. You could have really sold this by at least showing a couple other random common cleaners not able to do the job as well. That said, I admit I've never used this cleaner before, and secondly, there are plenty of stains I've had a heck of a time with. The worst is kids drawing on the walls. Crayons, pens, markers, dry erase, colored pencils, standard pencils, scuff marks on baseboard, deep grime around doorknob areas, black shoe marks etc. We usually need a ton of elbow grease, a box of magic erasers, and the strongest cleaners we have with almost boiling water, and we still have a hard time getting it off. I'd love a demonstration with all those items drawn on a typical white wall. But let the marks "dry out" and really latch onto the wall for some days or a week etc just to make sure it really bonds. Yes, you can use it on the inside of the toilet tank. My guess is that you're doing a deep clean on the toilet? Which means this is an occasional clean rather than a maintenance clean. Note: The flapper in the toilet is made of rubber and it sits in water 24/7. The lifespan is 1-3 years max. If it survives longer than that - cool, but plan to replace it regularly.

It’s hard for me to know exactly what to suggest as I don’t know what material your tub is made of (fiberglass, acrylic, cast-iron, porcelain). Living in Florida we have to always be aware of mold…especially on our light colored bricks…. I just spray it on and let set… then rinse off with a hose! We also use this on the outside of all our doors… works great! I was told this was the go-to clearer when we moved her! But what I wasn’t aware of was how concentrated it was…. Krud Kutter is a degreaser so depending on the soil on your tub and tile, it may or may not be the best thing to use. Also, if you are using it on a tub or tile, make sure you let it "dwell" or sit there for a few minutes so it can do it's job by eating through the crud.

I live in a condo, and my kitchen is small, so there are not many cabinets, and they were not that dirty. That is a great question and I don't have an answer. I think you get a prize for stumping me. 👏 I don't know enough about the carpet fibers and how they would react to the Krud Kutter - if you're planning to use it on the carpet. And I don't know enough about the machine you are using -- or what the owner's manual says about 3rd party chemicals in their tanks, or if it is only warrantied using a proprietary solution. I would start with the manufacturer's website for the wet/vac, then their contact page, and have them guide you to a correct answer. I'm sorry I'm not better equipped to answer that. 😪

Am confused. In this video you only use the full concentrated spray product, but you say to get the gallon and use a 1:10 ration (KK to water) for cleaning. So do I use it straight from the bottle as you are doing, or make the 1:10 concentrate?

I'm sorry for not being specific. The gallon would be the one which you would dilute (1:10 ration) and is more cost effective especially if you use it alot. Dilute it with water for every day use and light cleaning. When mixed 1:10 (12 oz. of concentrate with 1-gallon of water), one bottle of concentrate will make 11 gallons of premix. You can use it as is from the spray bottle, but make sure to test a small area before you start to spray everything, to make sure no damage is caused.
