Portuguese urban legend: There are boxes and boxes with astrological charts of Pessoa. He wanted to know the time of his death, but had no exact time of his birth, therefore made a lot of possible astrological charts, and he was obsessed with it.

Wow, thank you, Dr Angela! I've always love the work of Fernando Pessoa, since I was a teenager (almost 30 years ago 😱), but I've never knew his occultist facet. That's another layer of meaning I will gratefully dive in my next reading of his poems! Cheers from Brasil! 🖋

🖋Very nice, Dr. Puca! I was excited to hear you would be doing this video when you mentioned it in your livestream with Dr. Sledge and Ghoulus Spookus last week. ;) I haven't studied all of Pessoa's works, but I did enjoy his "Antinous" very much (imagine that!); and, in a book that I've been working on for almost ten years now (and hopefully will be done with by the end of next year...!?!), I had occasion to quote him in the introduction, writing as his heteronym Álvaro de Campos, in “Passagem das horas” (“Time’s Passage”): Multipliquei-me, para me sentir, Para me sentir, precisei sentir tudo, Transbordei, não fiz senão extravasar-me, Despi-me, entreguei-rne, E há em cada canto da minha alma um altar a um Deus diferente. I multiplied, to feel myself, To feel myself, I had to feel everything, I overflowed, I did nothing but escape, I undressed myself, I gave it up, And there is in every corner of my soul an altar to a different God.

I remember going to the museum of the Portuguese language in São Paulo as a teenager. They had this installation that projected famous excerpts from literature in Portuguese in the ceiling, among stars. At some point they projected the first few lines of Tabacaria: Não sou nada Nunca serei nada Não posso querer ser nada À parte isso, tenho em mim todos os sonhos do mundo I am nothing I will never be anything I can't want to be anything Apart from that, I have in me all dreams of the world (Lacking double negation as emphasis in English strips this from the gut punch of the repetition of the word Nada) It was my first contact with that poem (but not with Pessoa). It hit me right in my soul's stomach and I never recovered. I can't remember anything else from that museum, but that brought me to the rest of the poem when I came home and after 20 years of rereading it, it still hits me like an ecstatic experience.

i feel the augurz r right, to say i have seen a large crack/hollow open up near an underpass, after passing by the largest Raven on the tallest power-lines , a void wtis underneath, quite large, very creepy, then i saw a Blue Heron fly by with the weridest creek sound, then proceeded to slip from the crack/void all the way down slimy mass-weed from a week of rain, very creepy day before halloween, so it makes me think of Buffy the vampyre slayers hellmouth, now this this? oh boy.

Is this akin to Theurgy vs Goetia? Or more like Theosophists vs Goetia? I know Goetia could be inflammatory but I mean it as just magic for the attention of it that many Mystics or Mages do. I always hated the term Mage, I think Wizard is more akin to my philosophy of fusing scientific and philosophical observations with mystical symbology and using rituals to enforce psychic projection and manifestation. Also, ALWAYS A CUTE OUTFIT PROFESSORA ☺️ You really let your subconscious paint your fashion! I do the same lol some think it's showing of but it's an expression of the soul to me!

Naturalistic pantheism? Oh yeah! What do you think is the relationship between spirituality and art? It seems to me that the gods speak to us most clearly in our passions, although the language is often unique to the individual.

Since he committed suicide he probably struggled alternating between systems to believe while in life. Great poet and underrated one.... Sadly not popular because of the language accessibility to the masses. Which leads to the idea of all-about oneself in a life-time perspective and how people sometimes ignore or turn their backs to great, simple and humble people, some cease and succumb to this form of ignorance...

I share what the Hebrew Kabbalists don't want to admit. Dialectical thinking: Goethe thought dialectically, similar to Hegel, whose work "Phenomenology of the Spirit" appeared shortly before Faust I was published. The dialectical process consists of thesis, antithesis and synthesis, which means that progress arises from the conflict and the union of opposing forces. Mephisto as an embodiment of evil: Mephisto represents evil that paradoxically creates good. Evil counteracts good and only enables the really good in the world. Evil as a breeding ground of the good: Without the negative forces of evil, nothing good could grow. Evil prevents the existence of pure good, but through its intervention, good in the world is realized. Conversely: "I am part of the power that always wants the good and always creates evil." This indicates that those who strive for absolutely good often do great mischief, since the divine beyond good and evil must be. I am closer to Stoa than with Aleister Crowley.

lots of poetry in the golf (center of the middle east) is esoteric. and lots of poems are made by Jinn. it is pretty well known here and have obvious style and markers to know them. some are used in ritualistic songs and drums to invoke and evoke Jinn and reach a gnostic state. yes, loud drums help reach trance and gnostic states. drums and people dancing around arent just traditions, they ARE proper and real rituals. just esoteric and hidden in plain sight and only closed circles konw the occult meaning of the lyrics and the right intentions. we also have artifacts and Solomonic rings. no one publicly talks about them cuz they are highly restricted and strongly punishable by law. showing the these practices to the world is one of my dreams... wish i could do that
