I've seen that Prada powder on several KZbinrs with Fair/Light skin, and, at least on camera, it left a green cast. Just so you know. Those gold Dior lipsticks look stunning! The best new eye palette I've seen is the new Fawn by Lisa Eldridge. I thought it was boring until I saw it on Han Beauty 101 yesterday and it's like the new Vega. Just stunning. I'm sitting back to see if any of these fashion houses come out with products that are special. So far, I agree, they are all cash grabs. Thanks for the video! You look lovely as usual.💚

Dear Angela, I agree with all the new luxury brand that into making fast money…..( and every actress and so on is coming out with a beautyline…..). I want innovative high quality formulas and don’t need a brand that just see the fast money! I skipt the Fall Chanel collection because the quality and colors are not worse the money. Hello my dear Angela, I totally share your thoughts about the crash grab brands. Everybody from the greatest fashion brands to artists (actors and singers) bring out a beauty brand because it is GREAT CASH GRAB. But I still am not completely negative about them until I try their products. At the same time we really don't need more, just more original formulas, new products which do not exist, innovative products. Otherwise there is absolutely no need for them. As for the Rabanne double blush/highlighter, I have one of them and I like it. The blush formula is a nice creamy one, though nothing special, and the sheer highlighter/blush topper is subtle but glittery. You must like glitter or else you won't use it. I completely agree with you when you say that luxury brands try to capture customers who can't afford to buy a bag by selling them a lipstick instead. It's unfortunate, but that's marketing! 😏

I'm really excited about the Dior holiday😊❤ I looove my Dior Ecrin palettes. it looks absolutely gorgeous! It's top of my list. My other faves so far is actually Laura Mercier: a duo of her lip crayons & a truly beautiful looking 9 pan palette w elegant warm and cool tones. Then I'm excited about TF holiday glosses and interested in the blush duo which seems a cream formula. I looks like a pretty soft pink and pearl highlighter 😊

I[ve been told by industry insiders that bullet lipsticks are the easiest and cheapest cosmetic to get launched (though this was like 10 years ago when I was told this and formulas have advanced since then…), so it makes sense that all of these new lines are launching with lipsticks first . Yes, I do see it as a cash grab in most cases for the reasons you describe. They are trying to emulate Chanel and Dior-and Tom Ford-who have been very successful in both fashion and beauty spaces. I think the newer fashion-to-beauty labels that is doing right by giving great products are Prada and Valentino.

That was my first thought exactly Angela. I think with the economy the way it is, they are trying to capitalize on people who still crave the luxury signature brand. I will not partake in it. They are all doing it now Celine, Louis Vuitton, etc. I love the Chanel eye pallet. The colors look very ethereal. I was hoping Chanel would reintroduce the primers that were part of the winter collection. And finally, I would love it if you would do a video on how tor properly use the Hourglass bronzer and finishing powders. I have both, but have put them aside for that very reason. Thanks Angela for an updates in the beauty makeup world. I definitely will buy Lancôme holiday palette. I’ve got Louvre palette from last year collection and the quality is exceptional. Some of the shades reminds me ole old PML formula. And this palette was made in Italy. Hopefully this year Lancôme will do something similar. Chanel palette looks very interesting to me. 🙌❤️

Hi Angela! It’s always so lovely to watch your videos and hear all your thoughts on upcoming releases. I am excited about Chanel spring for sure!! I don’t want to influence you to get something you won’t like but I encourage you not to write off that Lancome palette. Lisa Eldridge is part of the team for Lancome and the palette a year ago that she worked on inspired by the Louvre in Paris was gorgeous. The formulas they use in those palettes are extraordinary and look lovely on the eyes and the new palettes color story I think would look gorgeous on you. I’m hoping to pick that one up. You always look stunning in your videos, Angela but you are especially beautiful in this video. I had been wondering about the Clarin Tinted Foundation and seeing it on your skin makes me want to try it. Your skin looks so glowy and flawless. There are so many new beauty releases and while I would love to try a lot of it, this year I must be a little more careful with my expendable income, meaning it won't be so expendable, LOL! I am trying to sell my house in the Rocky Mountains of Western Montana and hopefully will be moving to Seattle, WA to live with my daughter. I love where I live but I am divorced and living alone and at 70 years of age, dealing with the upkeep and having health issues, I just need to be closer to help. I fell last January and gave myself a concussion and my daughter has put her foot down and said I must live closer to her or with her. Anyway, until I know what I am doing, I have to be a bit better with following my budget. I am excited about the Hourglass palettes this year and that is the first time in many years that I have paid attention to them. Each palette has only one repeat color and five new shades with some having more blushes and others having more bronzers and finishing powders. When you are paying that price for a holiday palette it is nice to get more new and unique shades. I do love the ambient powders and find they work really well for me. Like you, I hope the Chanel release comes to the USA. It is very frustrating when they release in the Asian market and not any where else. I have a contact in Japan who will buy them for me but it has become so expensive for her to ship it to me that it just isn't feasible. In any event, I seem to be more interested in these holiday releases than I have been in many of the past years. Deborah

I agree with you Angela, LV is not going to get my money. I never cared for the brand. So I don’t see nothing exciting, well except Chanel and i have way too much makeup, and that’s only mostly Chanel, some Dior, TF, I don’t even buy other brands anymore with exception for bronzers. The only thing I need, we’ll want burgundy lipstick . I am looking at new Chanel 31 Le rouge matte ones, Hermes burgundy one looks quite nice, and I like this Prada that’s coming, so I will choose one between those. Have a blessed day🙏❤️

hello angela 🤗 such a great resumé of newness to expect ! celine’s beauty line was conceptualised ages ago & announced in the beginning of this year. their first item, a red lipstick is already out in their boutique in paris & will be released progressively very soon everywhere else (autumn 2024). it is a gold tube - the black leather casing in the photo you showed is only a leather case probably available as an accessory (like the cases for their perfumes). i think the gold packaging is beautiful & doesn’t need to be hidden by the leather ! other lipstick colours will be released in january 2025 either together with or shortly before the rest of the makeup line. i have always admired hedi slimane & have been interested in his work at celine since he joined the house. the perfume line is one of the best ever created in terms of designer niche brands (chanel exclusifs & hermèssences are the only 2 others in this category for me). interestingly, the main fashion houses which used to rely on haute couture, and then prêt à porter, eventually realised that just as there are not enough people who can afford these clothes to sustain their existence, there was at the same time a growing interest in their accessories (being a more affordable way to buy into the brands). so voilà a boom in « luxury » handbags, shoes and sunglasses in place of clothes. and then, like history repeating itself, people who can no longer afford the bags now look into acquiring their perfume & beauty lines. for certain brands, their overall aesthetic is echoed by their beauty range (hermès) or created in conjunction with the clothes (dior). these are all finishing touches to the overall look. however, i do not feel the same with LV although that could be a personal biais since it’s a brand whose aesthetics i don’t like or admire. as for the prada powder, it is very interesting & i can’t wait for your review on it ! thank you for your videos 💗

Oooohhh!!! I am super excited about the new Guerlain Parure Gold Double Veil SPF 50 and the Powder!!! I used an entire full bottle of Parure Gold Foundation and loved it!! I will definitely wait for your review on this one!! 🪻💜🪻 Dior's Holiday Clutch palette looks gorgeous! I skipped the one last year because I had a lot of product left in my 2022 palette. Great video Angela - as always! Really made my Saturday morning (which was pretty gloomy here in Canada). I’m very interested in your opinion on Guerlain and Prada powders. I’m contemplating getting Hourhlass palette - this would be my first big palette from them (thinking about the Dragon palette) - I started to use their blush and finishing powder this year and I’m in love. I agree with you about Louis Vuitton - I have zero interest in their lipsticks. I’m really looking forward for YSL blushes release - I’m absolutely in love with their recent powder - both bronzer and pressed powder and I think blush will be amazing as well. I would be very interested to know your opinion about Victoria Beckham new concealer that was just released - based on the first reviews I saw today it looks like a very good product. Totally with you on LBR. I bought one of their lipsticks with a case and it was so incredibly disappointing. Packaging did not feel luxurious, lipstick shade was COMPLETELY different from the pictures on the site, and to top it all off, the formula was so drying. It was shocking because I'm not that picky and I like almost everything I buy so for it to be that bad...

Would you mind telling me your opinion if you recommend picking up the lavender and blood orange powder from the chanel collection now that youve had it for awhile? Ive seen the lavender over the orange and lavender as a face powder and correcter. Im about your coloring ( edit with pink undertones) do you think its a good add to a collection? Thank you

French For A Day, you could not be more fed up than I am about the number of new cosmetics brands recently launched. It's been Rabanne; Prada; Blake Lively, hair; Simone Biles; Serena Williams; Dolly Parton, lipsticks; and now Céline and maybe Louis Vuitton. It's a disgrace and I blame the bankers. For me, I'm trying to get down my stash although I may be tempted to buy a holiday special because of the packaging.

LV makeup 🤢. Celine does intrigue me. They are relatively quiet and consistent with their goods. The only one of the new high end fashion brands turned beauty houses that I really am loving for beauty is Hermes and Prada has nice color combinations . Chanel has me soooo disappointed with the Halloween look for Fall 🙄🙄🙄

I have porcelain skin. Dior’s blushes are invisible on my pale skin!! I fell for the lavender and was so disappointed. Nothing! Guerlain did a balm lipstick and a gloss in lavender. Total fail!

Are you going to review the Chanel cream to powder blushes? I was waiting to c ur review B4 ordering them but they've been out 4 a couple weeks now so I may just go ahead..also I bought 1 of the Dior blush & glow duos, not the Dior amour but the Dior Rivera I think it was called,it's the next shade darker than the 1 u got, my problem wasn't with it not showing up, the color I got was actually the only positive ,it's actually a pretty color but I have dry skin & everytime I put it on, even if I prep my skin well, it looks so dry, the website does say the blush is matte ,but just bc its a matte formula does that necessarily mean it should dry out my skin? Also I felt the highlight it comes with is a drying formula also,if I pay over 50 for blush, I dnt feel it should dry out my skin, honestly I've only tried a few of Dior's complexion products but this always seems 2 happen wen I wear Dior, I think i'l stick with Chanel bc no matter what I get from Chanel at least it doesn't dry my skin out, bc 2 me that can completely ruin ur makeup &: make it feel uncomfortable 2 wear 4 a prolonged period of time,it's disappointing bc I do really like a lot of the colors Dior uses, so if u do like that formula but urs doesn't show up, u may like the Diorivera shade

The Chanel eyeshadow palette has been done already both as eyeshadow and as lipgloss. It seems the collective simply keeps redoing older collections. Nothing original. Getting tired of it. Also when are we going to get new rouge coco and rouge coco flash colors and rouge allure. Other than matte seems Chanel can't do new lipsticks.

LV is not a brand that I respect. Therefore, I will not be purchasing any of their makeup products.
