Clay is much easier, yes! The closest projects with metal for me is pewter. And then plated. Thanks for taking your time watching it!

Love the shape you make with the calla lilies. How do you preserve the shape when baking in the oven? I don't know how to prop mine up.

what can I use instead of a mane brush?

The brush is a suggestion making the texture of petals, you may use oil painting brushed or any similar tools instead. Be creative using anything if you couldn't find a mane brush like the video has shown. You can even draw natural lines if you have time. Look closer into the petal and find a suitable tool.
