This is one of the best Duets with two of the greatest voices of all time ❤🎶

One of the great duets live.

A truly great duet. It wasn't like they were performing. It was like they were just singing to each other, no audience, no nuthin' else, just two lovers singing to each other about their love. As for Linda, she was arguably the only singer who could span a whole range of genres, rock, country, light opera, the Great American Songbook, and Latin music, and own the songs. Her versatility was stunning. She also had the guts to stand up to the record company suits who would say "why do you want to do a different genre, we know your last record sold so well, let's do another like that" and her reply would be "because I want to." I keep referring to her in the past tense not because she's dead but because she has a disease, PSP, that has robbed her of her ability to sing. At least we have all her recordings to keep her voice alive.

Love your reaction. Don't know how many times I have listened to this, and every single time brings tears to my eyes. This is pure perfection - perfectly astounding blending of two voices from Heaven. ❤

Thank you, and it is an absolutely beautiful song...two amazing vocalists being masters of their craft. xo

@@AngelDReacts Linda has said that, for her, singing with someone is as intimate as sex - it is not sex, but equally intimate. Also that it is a "conspiracy to commit beauty". For those reasons, it was why she preferred collaborations with other artists - of which she did MANY - rather than the solo rock goddess which she had had enough of.

I've heard this song many times but never paid too much attention to it. This is the first i have ever seen a video of it. It sounded like they had genuine love for each other. It got to you, Angel. You really enjoyed that one. Thanks for the reaction Angel.

I really like her Desperado, and her cover of Smokey's Tracks of My Tears. But she could sing anything,

You'll be falling into a rabbit hole of immense proportion should you start to explore Linda's catalog. She had a career that spanned 5 decades with 31 studio albums, 15 compilation albums and she lent her voice to another 120 albums. She's recieved 11 Grammies in 5 different genres, nominated in 9 different genres, no other artist can come close to that. She's the first female to have 3 consecutive albums go platinum and the streak didn't end till she accumulated 8 in a row. Then what does she do? She goes off to Broadway to play the part of Mabel in Gilbert and Sullivan's "The Pirate of Penzance", where she earns a Tony nomination. After 2 years she goes back into the studio and cuts another album that goes gold then the next 6 she cuts go platinum. Christopher Loudon of Jazz Times in 2004 said, "Linda Ronstadt has arguably the most sterling set of pipes of her generation."
