Congratulations on a wonderful achievement! The first 100 mile finish is always the sweetest. The great lesson of the value of perseverance is immeasurable. You must be done with residency now so another hurdle behind you. I’m a Hospitalist in New Orleans who has finished Western States twice and Old Dominion once. Watching your video inspires me to think that maybe I can drag these old bones over the line once more👍

Thanks! “Run West From The Devil” was produced by Chris LaShelle and featured in JB Benna’s popular film “Unbreakable” about Western States 100 (kzbin.info/www/bejne/sKqUkqZseLmMjqs). I think it’s got a great tune and makes good sense literally (AC is also point to point west) and metaphorically (devil represents many things) here :)
