Welcome back Emily! Sounds like you had a fun trip to Oahu. I was there a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed some deep discounts from Dior and BOTTEGA VENETA. I got a Saddle bag for $500 off, Bottega Sandals sandals for $200 off, and a BOTTEGA VENETA Teen Pouch for almost $600 off. Such great savings!

A little late to this but glad i watched this. I live in Honolulu and never in a million years would have considered buying these items here. I always, wrongfully, assumed the prices were marked up for the tourists. I have my eye on the mens Saint Laurent large sac de jour in crocodile print leather ( not real croc) and either a mens Fendi large peekaboo in gray leather. I wonder if those stores have a hawaii discount.. or even the kamaaina discount. I was hoping to see an SL or Fendi entry. 😊 but thanks for opening my eyes.

Wow your sales tax is 10%!!?? 😮 that is crazy. The pink you tried on is beautiful. I love ❤️ it. I love tea and cute chinaware as well. We have a place here where they will do the works with the cute China and tea and coffee with pastries galore.

Thanks so much for this video! I did want to clarify, when you ask about discount how did you phrase it? (I.e., did you say you're from California and ask if any discounts?) And, by discount do you mean something on top of what's shown on the brand's website for Hawaii prices?

The sales associates know about Hawaii pricing so I generally ask if they participate in Hawaii pricing or if there are any special pricing. When I say discounts I mean the Hawaii pricing which varies by store and tax savings (which depends on which state you normally purchase from and whether they have a higher sales tax than Hawaii). Hope that clears things up!
