I wish Tati would’ve accused James for his behavior with boys and men only, not out of hurt, but out of genuine concern and stuck to her guns. I hate that she wasn’t really able to be like “see? Literally told ya” when boys started to come forward about James because she reduced those red flags to a footnote in the Bye Sister video. Shane and the other snake on her shoulder certainly didn’t help.

ngl ive always had a very soft spot for tati - i think she's a very good person and had the best of intentions (in the beginning of her relationship) with JC, I really feel like she took him under her wing and went way out of her way to advocate for him and get him into a good place when boys in beauty (not talking about drag queens) were still very new. i'm still subscribed to her and am so sad that less than 5% of her subscribers watch her videos. if i'm not mistaken, it took her a VERY long time to get to 1M subs (7+ years on youtube) and had the most admirable work ethic i've ever seen - she uploaded 5 times a week and produced and came up with all of her own videos herself; she probably put in more than 40 hours a week into her channel. devestating to see it fail

I don’t question Shane, James, or Jeffree cuz my expectations of them as human beings are already lower than low. But Tati, really girl? I’ve always wondered why she brought it to the internet. If she wanted to cut off James as friends, it should’ve been done behind closed doors. i do agree with what the people are saying in this comment section ab tati waiting to get hurt to speak on james' behavior with boys, like it is truly bad that she had to wait for something to happen to her within that friendship for her to start wanting to talk ab that. she definitely should've spoken it way sooner, definitely agree. however though, i think there is something to be said ab not be able to clearly see someone's true colors through the lenses of love and appreciation... most of us have gone through friendships where we realized how bad someone's flaws/actions were only after parting ways with that person, despite being aware of them all along. love does really blind you and truly does make you wanna believe someone's bad traits are just a phase. and tbh, the whole "tati crying over gummies on the internet" argument is not valid at all in my opinion, it's not hard to actually realize it is something deeper than that.

Omg when this happened I had no idea who any of them were. That was like when I first got into KZbin and all these trending videos were everywhere with millions of views and I got sucked in lol I watched tatis first and I was like omg this James guy is awful then watched James video and kind of believed him. I didn’t know what to think! But now that I’ve seen more about them they are all privileged weirdos. Not to mention James going after minors 😭

This is so weird, but something I always remember. Tati had listed James saying “but I’m so famous.” However around that time KZbinrs were saying that a lot ironically. Jenna Marbles even jokes with James in their video for a moment ( I might be mistaken but Jenna does say it.) going back and forth saying it. I definitely don’t like James, but it always made me think. ONCE AGAIN I DONT LIKE JAMES. (Just got to the part about Sam.)

I have to say (regardless of James being a terrible person I’m not saying he isn’t) the way I imagine the situation went was James was being HOUNDED by fans with no security. I imagine a vvv stressful situation. When sbh came to him and said we can get you to ‘safety’ essentially just promote our new product. He probably didn’t even think about it and just said yes to get out of the situation…. Then after yes he should have told Tati but maybe thought it would turn a mountain into a molehill and turn a situation she wouldn’t have cared about into a big hoo haa (regardless the hoo haa occurred… I digress)
