This was an event held in support of "Plan International", a humanitarian and development organization with the goal of advancing children's rights and equality for girls around the world. "Foster Parents" sponsor needy children around the world with monetary pledges that go directly to helping the specific children whom they sponsored and are able to communicate with them via Plan International. The event was held on December 30, 2016 at Chateau Neuf Center in Oslo and broadcast on TV2. Angelina was one of several performers and delivered a stunning performance. Most of Angelina's performances after winning Norway Got Talent at age 8 were for children charitable organizations. This Amazing young lady with the big voice and bigger heart is 17 years old today and still performs barefoot to remember the shoeless girl that she met when she was 6 years old and to remind us all of the many needy children around the world. Her voice was powerful, soulful and expressive, surpassing any other version of this song. How many of us can say we achieved such a feat at that age? This performance is simply incredible and showcases her extraordinary talent. “Feeling Good” was originally written by Anthony Newley, Leslie Bricusse and its first performer, Cy Grant. The song was written for a 1964 musical. That musical was entitled The Roar of the Greasepaint - The Smell of the Crowd. Nina Simone released her version in June of 1965. You mentioned that her earlier performances, such as this one, were like magic -- and I absolutely agree! In fact, if you noticed her beautiful hand movements on this song, it looked as if she were casting a magical spell over the audience. I know she cast one over me four years ago! I love ALL of Angelina's work from age 6 unto the present. But for me personally, I preferentially keep going back to the performances between ages 8 and 12. Those are my overall favorites years, both for her performances and her persona!

since you guys like paragraphs 😉: She's ten here, but she's been working on this performance for at least two years. She developed her interpretation together with Avicii for his Volvo advertising campaign and when Volvo preferred to choose an "adult" singer instead (Angelina was 9yo at the time and wasn't allowed to drive yet 🙁), she used the result elsewhere - for example for this charity concert. This is a very old song, written for a musical in 1964 and covered many times since, and this is one of the notable covers (regardless of the artist's age). This took place live on stage and was broadcast live nationwide on Norwegian TV. The whole performance is great, on par with famous gigs of the past like by Nina Simone or Michael Buble, but this final crescendo is fabulos. Aside from the ending - everything about it is perfect: not only did the band do a great job, they synchronized seamlessly with Angelina's beautiful vocals, the lighting is top notch (remember that pulsating aura at the beginning), as is the camera work (remember the 360 degree tracking shot around her, along with the "hey" she said to us with her eyes). I just wish we could have seen more of the audience - that's the benefit of the Allsang pa grensen version she did a few months earlier (and I have to admit I like the finale there a bit better). The occasion Angelina performed here is worth to be mentioned as well - it's not just a stage performance, it's a charity event benefitting Plan international Norway, a Norwegian Charity supporting children. It is called "The Stream gir tilbake (= gives back)" because finalists from “The Stream” (Norwegian TV song contest similar to “American Idol” or “The Voice”) performed there, along with established artists like Angelina. The event took place on Friday 30 December 2016 and has been broadcast live on TV 2 Norway from the event hall at Chateau Neuf Oslo (1,400 seats), so Angelina was still 10yo but very shy of her 11th bday. She mastered her "kid" voice before her ranged widened and the power that kicked in at 13. But you're right 10 yo Angelina it was Magical! Thank you for another great reaction to Angelina. In my opinion, she is the best singer in the world, and there are thousands of others who would agree with me. Every moment you spend featuring her on your channel will being you great emotional satisfaction. There are so many things I get from this performance. Some I recognised immediately and those I missed were brought to my attention by the more observant Angelina fans (her Angels) and I thank them for letting me know what I had missed. (1) The realisation that at the age of 10 Angelina has shed all childishness from her voice. (2) A feeling that the placement of the spotlight at the beginning of her performance was deliberate. If it was, then, to my mind, it was a brilliant move. (3) The fact that Angelina arranged this song and that the band kept out of the way and let her voice be the focus. (4) The incredible low note she sang for the word "good" at the beginning and end of the performance. (5) That wonderful crescendo at the end. (6) The was Angelina used her left arm and hand throughout the performance (7) The way she changed the microphone from her right hand to left hand, so that she could flip her hair back with her right hand. (8) The cheeky smile she gave to the cameraman when she realised he had focused on her at about 2.56 in your reaction video. (9) The sideways look and grin she gives to her instrumentalists just after she curtsies to the audience -- as if to say, "Yeah, we killed it, guys! Now let's go get some ice cream!" (10) The almost instantaneous switch from "performance" mode to that of a young child who, curtseyed and gave a sweet smile to the audience as an acknowledgement of their applause. Others have commented that the performance by Nina Simone should be considered the "gold" standard for this song. Until recently, I had never watched her performance, but have now done so. They just cannot be compared, for Angelina's arrangement is totally different

Timeless ! So much soul from this young child it's uncanny ! As in all of Angelina's videos when she was a child to visual, never matches the audio. Such a mature voice from this child. It's amazing. As all the experts have said Angelina is a child prodigy and the musical genius. What is fun about AJ is that she really is just a regular young lady. Her tiktoks vary from her preening in a fashion show of something she just bought to wear... to her strutting around with her little sister.... to trying to act serious and failing miserably. She is just a normal almost silly person... until she gets into the studio with a mic in her hand... then the GIFT emerges. Surely she practices and works very hard, but no amount of practice can gift you with the birdlike larynx and vocal chords this young lady has. While I am glad to see her do some covers... like at the Nobel Peace prize this year....I still like her own songs better. Sometimes I think she may collaborate too much and I hope as she gains more and more production knowledge that she will take over more and more of the end product.

AJ , fyi - there was a vocal coach who after watching this performance commented that Angelina at just 10 yrs. old had given a Masters Class in vocals and was fully qualified to teach others if she wished to.
