Thank you for another excellent reaction to Angelina. Did you notice those two low notes on the word "good" at the beginning and end and the incredible crescendo, and the cheeky grin she gave t the cameraman at about 5.23 in the video? When singing, Angelina can stand tall among every other professional singer, but did you see how she reverted to the young child she is and gave a modest curtsey to the audience in appreciation of their applause? In addition to her incredible singing and a level of musical knowledge that many other adult singers lack, is the fact that here is no falseness in Angelina. She is openly transparent in everything she does. In my opinion, there is no other singer who is as comfortable within themselves as a human being that they permit very personal videos to be posted for public view. She has always shown a level of maturity far in advance of her age, and her recognition that humans are not perfect beings but have flaws is something even many adults fail to accept. Go to Angelina Jordan Fanclub Mosarz - kzbin.info/door/hM_lpT4shdnsez93QMJPig and do some exploration. You will see videos of Angelina "hamming it up" during rehearsals; being the "Boss" while sweetly requesting that the musicians play as she wishes and showing her displeasure if they fail to do so; showing her disappointment if she is not satisfied with her performance. There are images of her looking angry, petulant, thoughtful, sweet and adorable. I doubt there is another performer who has been so well documented throughout their life and I feel honoured that Mery Zamani, Angelina's maternal grandmother, has been so forward looking to film these occasions and that Angelina has permitted them to be uploaded.
@mikehaun56903 жыл бұрын
So true. Angelina , through Mery's videos, will be studied and admired for a long time. Musicians, vocal coaches and scholars will try to understand the genius of Angelina Jordan forever, and I doubt that any will ever really know the "how?". We are so lucky to see the journey of a true icon from the very beginning. Even without the singing, her character inspires me to be a better person.

"When I sing I go to another world. The world is endless. It's like, full of happiness. I love it. It's amazing. And when I am on stage, I don't want to go [leave the stage]. [laughing]. I just want to be on stage" A snippet of Skaylan’s interview of Angelina Jordan (age 12) in Norwegian TV - November 2018
Thanks again for a nice reaction, Angelina likes that things are real. She does not hide behind auto-tune or cheating. Often she sings with just a guitar or piano. She can just as easily sit in the living room singing into a cell phone. She is completely raw, and what you hear is real, in contrast to many who "do sound make-up" for the recording, and before we hear it. In an interview with one of the guitarists she uses, he said that he did not show in advance what he was going to play, but that they sat for a while and "drooled" before she found a song she wanted to record. This was done with one to two shots! (Google translated)

I absolutely love your delightful reactions with Angelina, your spontaneity and professional analysis. This is definitely one of her best covers, for me. That at the age of 10 only, on stage, so small and young and positioned right between an excellent band and the audience, she is able to calmly face the song and pour such vocal and emotional power into it, is absolutely incredible. Her particular depth of voice, her personal reading about her how to set the interpretation, the wonderful use of vibrato and the ending of her interpretation are exceptional, for intuition and execution. You can choose any of her interpretations, they are all fantastic and completely different, every time she takes a good song, no matter the author or the genre, and rebuilds it in her way ... builds a new masterpiece.💛 🧡 ❤️

She was already singing like this at seven yers old, and she is Danish, so you have to realize that she is singing in another language than her native tongue, add all this up and you have a true phenomenon. The level of artistry is immense, Billie, Ella and so many others echo in her songs. I am not sure we will ever witness anything like this again, of this caliber. It kind of shatters the human boundaries.

I love it at the top of her high notes she has that little squeak to finish the note off with. OMG I was waiting for that response from you to that last build up because the thought in the back of your head is, "Is she going to make it?" The answer is not yes, it is "HELL YEAH, I got this!!!!!!!!" What most people don't hear is the run she puts in before the last 'and I'm feelin' good'. So Singer Dude I am going to give you a link to one song by a then 12 year old named, Gracie-Jayne Fitzgerald from Wales. Who had only started singing just 17 months before her run to the final 4 on this show, The Voice Kids UK. This song was sung for her quarter-final song. I wish I could also give you the coaches remarks they gave this girl. I am going to send you two links, one for the single song, ' Many Rivers To Cross', then I'm going to give a link to her compilation video that is 17 minutes long. But you will get more of a feel for the way she handles music. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rXXEnqtpmbmCZ8U Many Rivers To Cross, listen to Danny McBride, lead singer for English group McFly. He's the one with red hair. kzbin.info/www/bejne/eIetfq2pittmj6c This is he compilation video of all her performances and coaches comments. You don't need to react to either one but the single song would be a good one to react to.Then you listen to this one with no pressure. Thanks for your reactions as always great.

If you're not familiar with the story, I'll share that the lore around Angelina not wearing shoes when performing is that at age 6 she met a little girl her own age who was barefoot & whose feet were scarred. Angelina gave the girl her own shoes & “vowed never to appear on stage again wearing shoes until all the world’s children had them.” It harmonizes with her "old soul" gift with music
