Giacomo, You echo what I have been saying ever since the day I heard Angelina sing for the first time. There are a lot of very good and great female vocalists, but IMO, Angelina stands alone as being the most divinely gifted and multi talented of them all. Angelina is the song whisperer. Her voice heals hearts and souls. The unadulterated purity of her soul is there for all to see. This rare and God blessed angel must be protected from the dark side at all costs. She is one of the best that humanity has. There is gold. There is platinum. There is diamond. Then there is Angelina, an extremely rare and precious gem.

There are so many things I get from this performance. (1) The realisation that at the age of 10 Angelina has shed all childishness from her voice. (2) A feeling that the placement of the spotlight at the beginning of her performance was deliberate. If it was, then, to my mind, it was a brilliant move. (3) The fact that Angelina arranged this song and that the band kept out of the way and let her voice be the focus. (4) The incredible low note she sang for the word "good" at the beginning and end of the performance. (5) That wonderful crescendo at the end. (6) The was Angelina used her left arm and hand throughout the performance (7) The way she changed the microphone from her right hand to left hand, so that she could flip her hair back with her right hand. (8) The cheeky smile she gave to the cameraman when she realised he had focused on her at about 3.21 in your reaction video. (9) The almost instantaneous switch from "performance" mode to that of a young child who,curseyed and gave a sweet smile to the audience as an acknowledgement of their applause. Others have commented that the performance by Nina Simone should be considered the "gold" standard for this song. Until recently, I had never watched her performance, but have now done so. They just cannot be compared, for Angelina's arrangement is totally different

Giacomo, I agree listening to Angelina sing is therapy for the soul. I never had a voice have such a positive physical effect on me like Angelina. Giacomo, as an artist yourself, you know how much artists appreciate support from the fans. Please provide a link to the original video and encourage viewers to watch it. Angelina would want you to do the same for each artist you feature.

I agree Andy. And it's not only because an artist deserves the recognition for their vocal ability. Angelina is a unique individual with a committed humanitarian goal. She gave her shoes to a street orphan when she was 6 years old because the orphan had none. She committed to singing barefoot for the rest of her life as a tribute to those in need. She has helped raise over 20 million for children's charities since winning Norway's Got Talent, and she actually gave her winnings from that show to charity! She stated her lifelong goal is to sing for the world to bring love and peace. How can any reactor not support that? It sheds a positive light on anyone who supports her and her goals. I personally would feel good about myself for doing all I can to help Angelina achieve her platform and use it for good!

Great reaction! I have not been commenting lately on reactions although most of them for Angelina have been really great . I have been following Angelina for three years now, but it is seldom that I have commented on reactions recently. I really liked your genuine and heartfelt reaction and I felt inspired to comment here. I loved your Italian comments also. Although I was born here in America I do have a long line of Italian heritage and I studied the language for some time. I also had a friend named James whom we called Giacomo, which means James in Italian, if I am correct. I used to play lead guitar in a teenage rock group but that was over 50 years ago. Since then my interest in more contemporary pop and rock music dwindled as I aged, but Angelina restored my faith in young musical talent, real talent. I prefer live bands, not electronic musical instrumentation. I also feel that the motives and consciousness of a singer reflect in the way they perform no matter what kind of song it is. Angelina is a very special soul with a special mission in life which seems obvious to me and to many others, I am sure. Her deep love of music, of performing music of any style to make people feel good and smile, and her mission to help children and the underprivileged population is a great contribution to world peace, progress and general happiness. I know there are more young singers and musicians out there who have similar goals and talents, but in this case we are focused on Angelina and how she has been approaching and manifesting incredible music and musical performance for basically her whole young life. Hopefully she will keep it up for many, many more decades when most of us are long gone. Thanks again for sharing that with your subscribers and others who may watch here. Keep up the good work!
