Just for me to remember, Angelina 10 years old with an orchestra Life on stage in front of a huge audience in a live TV show in front of millions of viewers. Angelina makes it so effortless, it just seems so effortless. Absolutely amazing ✌️😎🇩🇪🇪🇺💯

Haha! If someone had told you last year that you were going to hear a 10 year old sing Feeling Good equal to or better than most adults, I think you might have had doubts. Now you've heard her younger and older and it's like, 'Well, it's Angelina and right in her wheelhouse . Of course, it's great. We expect that now'. She is amazing! The future of music is in front of our eyes. What a treat! Always a good reaction from you ( with or without the kids). I'm ready for the next one.

Wow! The poise she exhibits in the performance is off the charts. And, I particularly liked it when you noticed the little smile she gave to the camera as it swooped around her. I've noticed all Angelina's live musicians are always the best. Whether its a lone guitarist, military band, orchestra or whatever they always nail it. Angelina could sing anything without music but with her musicians...it's magic!

This song was written in 1964 by Anthony Newley and his writing partner for the London Stage and Broadway. It was first released to the public in 1965 by Nina Simone. Since then it's been covered 100's of times, including Michael Buble', many on talent show auditions. Almost all the covers I've heard want to belt it early and often. Angelina's version is very jazzy as she holds the crescendo until the end. Then she knocks it out of the park. Her version is my favorite. Glad you picked this song to react to. At her age (10 years), with that particular depth of her voice, the wonderful use of vibrato and the absolutely excellent ending, it's an incredible performance, also for the tranquility with which she faces the audience and for the vocal and emotional power she has poured into the song. 😊 👍 If you like, there is another recording of this song, in the same year, but it's outdoors during the show "Singing on the Border" which is held every year on the border between Norway and Sweden in the Fredriksten Fortress, during the summer and with the audience with sheets, with texts to encourage them to sing together. On that occasion, Angelina frees her skills even more, also than this version. One of my favorite Angelina covers. It is so hard to recommend what to react to next. Three done around the same time are A Million Years Ago by Adele Stay by Rihanna Born to Die by Lana del Rey I also love It's a Mans World by James Brown I will Survive by Gloria Gaynor Shield (Her own song) Wake me up (a dedication to Avici) Above The Water (An EDM with a totally different sound). Also, you really should check out I Who Have Nothing. This may be her first studio recording when she was only 6. It was recorded by her grandmother at her school. This was a song made famous by Tom Jones and Shirley Bassey in the early 1960's.

When critiquing Angelina’s performances we must always keep our opinions in perspective and balanced. First and foremost, we must always be conscious of her age during a particular performance. I sometimes feel that some reactors get so caught up in nit picking the nuances and minute details of her performances that they lose their sense of perspective. I find that some reactor’s expectations are too high, out of proportion and unrealistic. We we have in Angelina is a rare and once in a lifetime individual who’s talent transcends all others. I do not know of another young singer that compares to Angelina. There are exceptionally talented singers, but they are singular in the genre of music they sing. None that I know of have the repertoire of genres and the vocal versatility that Angelina has in addition to having the ability to write original music, re-write arrangements to existing songs, re-write lyrics and give music direction at such a young age. I enjoy both of your reactions because you keep things in perspective and do not over analyze every aspect of an Angelina performance.

From what I can tell, The King (Elvis Presley) didn't record a song until he was 19 years old. Correct me if I'm wrong. I mention it because here is 10 YEAR OLD Angelina singing like nobody's business. Am I comparing AJ with Elvis? Not in this video, but in others, you're darn right. Listen to her sing Love Me Tender and Falling in Love with You. If this performance doesn't convince you that Angelina is the very definition of child phenomenon, then I can't help you. Nina Simone made this song famous, but I'll take AJ any day, over anyone's version. Jimminy crickets, this girl is just beyond.

There is another version of this song she did about 5 months earlier on a different TV show, with different instrumentation and a different "feel" to it. Comparing the two is an interesting exercise. Some people prefer the earlier verision; personally, I prefer the one you just reacted to. Angelina has a long history with this song.
