I think I love Angelina's rehearsal videos most of all now. I love the immediacy of her voice. And in so many of them , she allows herself a little bit of horseplay and the always excellent musicians seem so content just to groove along with her.

I love listening to her both perform and rehearse. Also, it's great that she has live musicians accompany her and they are ALWAYS top drawer. You can tell she wouldn't settle for less.

Oh I've heard Patsy Cline singing "Crazy" it was more jazz style than what Country & Western singers put out in their songs at that time. ..Angelina is a perfect match to pour all the emotions out that Patsy did. Wonderful interpretation.

I love that she still fidgets when she's not singing, I think that gives us a clue to how this little lady sings with such power. Perhaps she has a dozen or more tiny nuclear reactors inside of her that just keeps pumping out energy. I'm so glad we continue to capture her work so we can share the journey with her. I feel hopeful.

WOW!! So it's just a little rehearsal and she's simply fantastic. I love her rendition of this classic song. She stays very close to the original (most do), but it's all new with her voice. A few years back this song was voted the greatest CW song of all time. Willie wrote it and Patsy sang it. Two icons. I've heard it covered many times; some good and some not so good. Now another icon gives us her version and we are all blessed to be a part of it. I've listened to it many times on her wonderful CD "It's Magic", and it truly is "magic" to hear her sing it. I would love to hear her version of another of my favorite Patsy Cline songs, "She's Got You". I'm sure she would knock it out of the park. Thanks for posting this. Best wishes. Billy J

I have to wonder if the woman in the background holding pencil and paper is a vocal coach. I know the story about her grandmother leading her to jazz but hear nothing about coaching. With this kind of other-worldly, once-in-a-lifetime vocal excellence, I would think she has an entire fleet of top-ranked coaches. It would take nothing away from her undeniable prodigy and innate, exquisite sensibilities for music. I also liked this band. They clearly were into the moment.

If you look at the Christmas song video which is the same rehearsal the woman is also singing. If I remember correctly, this was a concert with this band and singer in a church(?). Her name escapes me, but she was on the billing....

Someone commented after another Angelina performance (I think) that when she is in school in Norway, she has routinely also attended "After School" training in a connected program in Oslo. It appears from the brilliance appearing in Angelina that they also have had experienced, well-trained teachers. Some of the videos that have been available also show equipment better than the average music studio.

i think i read in some comments that she was educated in music history and everything around singing but not actual coatched because the family was scared about someone could mess around with her unique voice and take on every song - they where aware that this skill had to be protected at all Costs

You know what’s just absurd & I suspect it’s purposely being ignored? Her crazy all around talent & these asinine US companies seemingly ignoring this fact.. why? Now this is just speculation ok? Because she’s from another country? Because they want to make some grovel & beg? It just doesn’t make sense to me.. either way it’s a win, win situation for both party’s!
