We are already at a point, when it is the greatest compliment if someone compares another singer to Angelina. What so soon will not happen. And as she refines HER style more and more over the years, it will be even less able for others to come even near to her complexity, agility and virtuous artistic ad hoc choices. So, MAYBE, someday there will be said, "this there just sounded a bit like Angelina Jordans choice on this song...". And THAT then will be the greatest compliment for that singer.... He had me thinkin that too. Just the start of the chorus, makes a bit of sense. But truthfully it makes sense for most songs with this vocal structure. A thousand of em.

It is actually mostly the rhythm structure. In rock and pop, beats 1 and 3 are usually emphasized. But in “Bad Valentine” and “Rolling in the Deep”, the four beats in each bar have (almost) the same emphasis. That creates a very distinctive stomping and forward-moving effect. It’s like a train rolling. So you could say that Angelina, or at least her persona in this song, is almost unstoppable! 😊

Nice reaction; I take the Amy comparisons as a compliment, not a putdown; and enjoy your sense of humor and don't mind your singing a bit - it's your channel, have fun! The sourpusses are free to go elsewhere. As for the video itself, and the few other recent music videos she has done - I like the simplicity of just her and a car (or in one, her and a car and her Grandma!), or just her and a mic stand. Her voice is the star, so no need to do a lot of production or visual storytelling.

It may be because I've been following Angelina since she was a child, but I am so sick of the 'Amy Winehouse' comparisons. She's a little similar to Amy but she's so much more. I wish reactors were more originals or creative. It's to be expected I guess. This is great original by Angelina. She's 18, by the way has been a star since she was 7. I think the Astar Ladies at least like some good cars. Sara is very comfortable in those big SUVs for sure. To the comparison: I think for people who haven't listen to her very much yet, and know about her 1000 voices, styles and choices the most obvious is AW and Adele. And people need/like to categorize new impressions for easier comprehension brain-wise. People who studied the legacy she already created quickly get off that comparison train. As there is none! to compare to anymore.
