That 9 sec full belting of "nothing," is the most power I've ever heard from Angelina & I've heard most everything. When you get around to watching the 12 yo version of this at her Album Release Concert with the Norway Military Band, you have to watch the Conductor when she sings that 3rd "Lost in the wilderness." He is shocked & can't believe what he's hearing. It wasn't his 1st rodeo with Angelina, 7 months earlier they had rehearsed & studio recorded the whole album, "It's Magic," including this song when she was still 11. However, he had never heard the 12 1/2 yo Angelina singing live in front of fans, including members of the Norway Monarchy & the Prime Minister. When she goes live with audience &/or TV coverage, she lights up the vocal afterburners. Great reaction/analysis Juliette, you were so lucky to be able to attend. I'm hoping for a NY Area Concert from her & I will be there.

The wonderful magical thing about Angelina is she doesn't even have to try and the soul comes out of her voice naturally. For those who don't understand, it's ok to just move on . This was epic as reflected by the entirety of the audiance❤❤👣❤❤

Angelina blew this song out of the park when she was12 years old, i know as I attended her concert in Norway 🇳🇴 I was absolutely shocked at Angelina’s performance, I also attended Angelina’s Christmas concert, her stage presence was amazing her live vocals phenomenal, Angelina is the most talented artist I’ve ever seen or heard, and I have seen many amazing artists in my 72 years, great reaction thanks 🙏

What floors me is not only the power of that last belt, but the intentionality with which she slides up to the note, then dials up the grit, and finally garnishes the whole thing with vibrato at the end. Wow.

This breath taking performance made us all card carrying members of the goose bump squad. I made sure to remove my socks before viewing because I knew Angelina was going to blow them off. Now I’ve got to try and find them.

She performed it three times at age 11/12: For the recording of her "It's Magic Album" in Nov. 2017 with a military brazz big band, then at the premiere concert of that album in June 2018, and a couple weeks later at the Kongsberg Jazz Festival with a small jazz band. Many fans regard the 2nd one as the best performance of these three; unfortunately, that's the only one which wasn't professionell recorded, and it is of rather limited audio quality.

That was magnificent. The step down on the first best was soooo smooth---it was a perfect transition. The last belt---you don't just get a belt with Angelina, she puts a few extras in there as well. :The slide up, then adds grit to it, then the vibrato comes in at full volume. Just spectacular. I absolutely love the way she does the lines "he was lost in the wilderness" as that is one of my favorite parts of this song by her. Can only imagine what that was like live as that last belt just swallowed the entire room. As good as her 12yo versions are (you need to listen to them) and in my opinion they were the 2 best versions of that song until this one, wow what a difference. Her upper register is getting better and bigger and not to far in the future it will be as good as her lower register I believe. When that happens we may need to rename her again as the Goddess of Song. Really enjoy your perspective on Angelina's art.

This was primarily my audio, and throughout the concert, I tried to behave myself and hold the camera and mic steady and be silent to get the best recording. That was my mind being blown that you heard and my slip up. I apologize to the listeners. I don't feel so bad, though, when you see KORK'S conductor reacting when his mind is blown. There is also a viral video at that same concert of the clarinetist reacting with disbelief at Angelina's singing as well. This is all part of the lore of Angelina. Sometimes you just can't help yourself.❤

Want to understand. Do you talk about the visuals or the sound of her voice when you say you can’t Watch to the end, and that she tries too hard. Maybe you like more clean vocals straight forward singing? If this is the case she is not the artist for you and that’s OK. Some like coffee and some like tea. 😊

Like you said, some like certain types of singers. With a quick search, he OBVIOUSLY loves Lucy Thomas. Also, he has posted on numerous Angelina reaction videos stating why he doesn't like her. If he doesn't like her style of singing, why does Gabriel waste his time posting negative comments over and over again? 🤔🤔🤔
