First of all, I hope you are well! Years have gone by and when I saw your video show up on you tube (2/13/2024) I immediately played it because I remember it as a classic reaction from you and it also had the Golden Buzzer moment. Well, she just turned 18 on Jan 10th and, guess what? She has two Concerts coming up in Las Vegas on Feb 29th at the Westgate Hotel and Casino where Elvis Presley performed over 600 Concerts. She previously had her first USA Concert in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, just north of Boston. It was a sold out event and I was lucky enough to attend. How was it like to finally see her in person? Let's put it this way, when she walked out to center stage everyone rose to their feet and we all started crying. No one like this young lady. She is very, very, very special. I repeat, I hope you are well and all of us would like to see you back reacting to Angelina. The next chapter in her life is starting to take off big time!

My heart goes out to you and yours. I have been -- and will always be -- there. In my mind's eye sits my young teenage daughter on her bedroom floor, her eyes closed, singing along passionately with the same part of "Bohemian Rhapsody" Ms. Jordan selected. Just one of a thousand snippets of memory. On April 9, 1993, maybe a couple of years after that moment, my daughter was in a car accident that would end her life a month later, at age 17. As she lay in ICU, in various levels of coma, I played the song to her through earphones, hoping she would hear and heed the call to "open your eyes, look up to the skies and see." She wanted to stay but she just couldn't. Before she fled from her prolonged suffering, she spoke back to me through the song: "Mama, didn't mean to make you cry," and urged me to "carry on, carry on as if nothing really matters." Which I have tried to do for 27 years, though I miss her more than ever. But I don't think I was even consciously aware of my personal relationship with "Rhapsody" as I listened to Ms. Jordan's rendition. My initial tears were a response to the stunning, almost agonizing beauty of her performance. Many of the people in that crowd looked exactly the way I felt. Some looked like they were watching the heavenly hosts descend from the clouds; others were really losin' it! This little girl didn't just kill, she annihilated! It was a remarkable thing to see.

Hypnotic always. Emotional when she chooses. Master of a dozen genres. Perfect pitch. Very wide vocal range. Great timing. Superb breath control. Her cover of Unchained Melody demonstrates her fantastic high note ability, which she only rarely used because it rarely contributes to the meaning of lyrics. And she's only 13! Amazing!

@RustyShacklefordChannel4 жыл бұрын
@@peaceofmind5383 It is difficult to tell from just this performance, because she could have gotten a pitch tone in her ear monitor.... but when she was 8 and sang "I'm a fool..", there didn't appear to be any pitch cues. Also, if you watch the interview on my channel (the one before the finale aired) you can hear her singing bohemian in the back of the car... not pitch cues there ;)

I am sorry for your loss. I pray you found comfort. Thank you for a great reaction to Angelina. History was made, If anyone's brave enough to do this song, they'll be doing her rendition of the song & they'll be compared to her, for it's her song now. Think of it , she took a iconic classic rock opera & stripped it down & turned it into a jazzy/bluesy soulful ballad. Please support her music, CD's, iTunes, ect.. Put her on your playlist...To help keep the Hollyweird cult away from her. So many (even Disney) producers have been trying to get her to sign her. Her & her mom just tell them no, (she wants to finish school 1st). They would just ruin her & spit her out once they made their money off of her. She's a talent that comes by once in a lifetime maybe once every hundred years. Angie is music. She can do any genre & sound better than most originals & she's still very young too. She’s 14 as of 1-10-20. She made her outfit using the pattern of an artwork, of her grandmother's. A God given voice & talent. What amazing timbre, tone & texture.. She's very sweet & humble in real life too. She rearranges & composes her songs while still being respectful to the original. She has written 3-4 songs plays 4 instruments, speaks 3-4 languages etc.English isn’t her 1st language. She also gives a lot to charities & helps out children who really need it.. I can totally relate to you... I don't really listen to many songs and singers, sometimes some do touch my heart and tears starts to flow... but this song from her makes me tears every time, think she is singing to my soul instead of my heart...

I was 12 years old in 1964 when I first heard “I Wanna Hold Your Hand” by The Beatles. After listening to that and the flip side of the 45 RPM, “I Saw Her Standing There” hundreds of times, I literally remember feeling an electricity in the air that something was changing in our world (as much as I could at age 12). I am 68 now and, after listening to Angelina Jordan sing, I feel that same electricity once again. We know the impact that The Beatles had (and still have) on the world, and I truly feel that Angelina could be as influential as them. She is destined to be a superstar! I am sorry for your loss. Maybe listening to the 150+ clips Angelina has on KZbin will help you with the grieving process. Peace!

So sorry for your loss! I totally get why Angelina's version brought such an emotion in you at this very sad moment. It's a LEGEND of a song with so much meaning and listening to it in this way is very, very special. If you see the auditorium full of phone lights, the judges and contestants faces, you'll see you're not alone in this feeling. Queen themselves tweeted congratulating her, how amazing is that!!!! Hope to watch more reactions from you soon. Sending lots of peace your way ❤️

Her story touched my heart! I'm truly am so very sorry for your family's loss! I Thank-You for sharing this video with us. God Bless You & Your loved ones! XO

I have come to use this performance whenever my eyes get too dry. It hasn't failed to bring involuntary tears to my eyes. I am a huge fan of nightwish too, but this is the only performance to ever brought tear to my eyes.....and apparently that's repeatable at 100% success rate. I have no clue why, it just does.
