Angelina is and was and always been protected cared for, looked after, and loved. Her mother Sara and Grandmother Meri Zemani deserves an award for the way they raised Angelina. Youll get it once you see some more and learn the amazing person Angelina is. She cares more about the safety of children than most. She has raised over 22 million euros for chuldrens charities.

Very good to be concerned about young children that are pushed, because they have some sort of talent. It all went wrong too often, especially when they become famous and the pressure to perform keeps raising and the distance to their peer group keeps growing. Her fans that dig into her history and personal life (which is well protected), will tell you that she grows up in a very stable family, who for instance insisted that she finishes her school and they are very careful about how much and where she may perform. Her record lable (Republic Records) is also very patient (but happy) with her, they trust her and love her, and she loves them! She is a very sensitive girl, but very wise and smart too! Of course she is in a risky age period (supposed to experiment in life), but so far, so good! And her talent is just unstoppable. When her mother saw her winning Norway's got talent, she knew she had to share her little angel with the world! (quoted). As others will tell you, her grandmother (Persian) always played a big role in her artistic journey (and her life)! All kind of performing and singing skills come together in Angelina, being the most versatile female singer I've ever seen. Even if she doesn't become a world star (which can depend on so many things; the time has to be right) it's most impressive the "œuvre" she already delivered. Maybe someday you look back on her "I put a spell on you", set aside her age and see what a masterpiece it was! Would be nice if you see the original version of Screaming Jay Hawkins first. Then you understand what a fantastic tribute she made.

It’s hard to wrap your head around the talent Angelina Jordan has. It’s even more impressive when you discover the humanity and humility she possesses. I and many others are as concerned about the influences she may encounter as we are our own children and grandchildren. Luckily she has a wonderful family and Republic Records, who signed her a few years ago, are letting her develop as normal, healthy young person should. It’s a joy to see a 17 year old impending superstar display the amazing, love humility and respect to her fans as well as the music she loves.

Yes you`r right; - she did discover Simon at age 3. Actually it took a 5 second snippet from her mum`s video of 18 month old Angelina, to blow me all into mindless gasping. Baby Angelina sang allong to the refrain on Whitney Houston`s "I will always love you". The very first time she appeared in public, as she auditioned for "Norway Got Talent" in january 2014,she litteraly got me paralyzed, as she made me stop in front of the TV. Could not move even a finger. I must say I totaly understand your consern for the very young talents of this world. We all can see how often they turns into bad directions. This young lady though, she made me all into a sworn fan, as a young child. Angelina has been very well managed by her family through her early years and they put an emphasis on her getting her education before she commits herself to her career full time. My dear, I know you disputed what Angelina could have been thinking about when she was 3 years old. Well, consider the following: She has a video on You Tube singing Whitney Houston in bed with a mic at 1 1/2 years old. No lie! Is there any doubt at all she was born to sing? And, you guys will find it very interesting why she sings barefoot. Her fan base (her 'angels') will be sending you all kinds of data (playlists and personal) about her and included in some of the bio's you will receive will be the story of why she doesn't wear shoes when she performs. Angelina's outfit is one she had made from a painting her Grandmother did. She started singing at 18 months old. Her Grandmother was really into jazz which is what influenced Angelina and her voice suits the genre perfectly. Angelina was studying music theory at 6 and does her own arrangements for her music, including giving directions to the band. She's an extremely talented lady who knows what her passion is and has known that since she was a child. I'm glad she's getting to live her dream.

Our tiny little girl with the grownup voice was 17 on Jan. 10, 23 and is now 6'1" tall and could be a super model, but I hope the major portion of her career will be dedicated to her music and taking the world to a better place. I don't think she even realizes this power she holds over us and the need to hear that signature voice to fill that empty void within all of us. Angelina Jordan is in fact the "Benchmark" for all other vocalist to try as they might to achieve. I have a number of pictures of celebrities whose height is known, for example, Austin Butler, who played Elvis, is 6ft tall, and AJ published a picture of her standing next to him, she was at least 1 inch taller than him, and she had to look down at him.

AJ’s Christmas Show that live-streamed on Dec 23 of 21 had some of the most important musicians of our time: Frank Sinatra's drummer for 6 years, and sun in-law of the late Henry Mancini, Greg Field has won 9 Grammys, and the bass player, Chuck Berghofer who also played for Sinatra for 6 years, and toured with Streisand, accompanied AJ on her Christmas Show, and they stated that she had the "storytelling ability of the greats, Streisand, Fitzgerald, Vaughan, including Sinatra, to name a few. The main pianist, a five-time nominated for Grammys, Shelly Berg, stated in all his years working with the greatest vocalist, he had never encountered a talent like AJ. Did I forget to mention Jimmy Z, the famous Sax Player who worked with Rod Steward, Etta James, the Eurythmics, and Doctor Dre, was part of the band for the show? Jimmy stated that AJ was the best he has ever played for. Rob Christie Republic Records Studio Director at Universal Music Group Manhattan Beach, California played the guitar, and was the MC of the show. Rob has been working with AJ from the very 1st day Republic signed her at age 14. (I can't list the complete backgrounds on all the band members because it would take several pages to do them justice.) Angelina stated that she would rather perform than take a breath, and she has never been forced to perform, it has been her decision. Angelina Jordan is top priority for both Stargate Production Co. (Beyonce, Rihanna, Sam Smith), and the largest record company in the world, Republic. AJ's first album for Republic is supposed to drop sometime in mid 2023.

For the doubters, Angelina's mother is on record regarding Angelina begging to sing on the "Simon show" when she was 3 years old. Growing up in Norway, the closest she could get was Norske Talenter, Norway's iteration of Cowell's "Got Talent" franchise, which Angelina entered at the earliest age permitted and, as you heard, duly won. Not only did she win; she garnered 46 percent of a vote spread amongst ten acts. Studied may be too strong a word but I have certainly observed this prodigious young girl for around seven years and it took only a matter of hours to recognise that here is a highly advanced intellect - obviously musically but also emotionally. That kind of kid happens sometimes but she also possesses a wonderful singing voice, great expressiveness borne of empathy, rare humility and social responsibility, visual appeal, and a zeal to share what we see as a gift but she sees as her calling. To many of her fans, watching her progression and as her many personal attributes have been peeled away, it has felt like the tumblers on a slot machine which has promised but failed to deliver for years have one by one each stopped on JACKPOT.

Nice reaction! She received a standing ovation from everyone and got the Golden Buzzer from judge Heidi Klum (the video you watched cut that part out for some reason) to go straight to the Finals. Her performance went viral and even the group Queen responded on Twitter by saying, " Wow, what a rendition!" Not only that, but she received the copyrights for her version of this song from Queen, which makes it hers now. She did not win, but her fan base grew and expanded her popularity. Her fans call her The Barefoot Princess. She always performs with no shoes when she sings. Why? The reason is very special. When she was 6 years old, she was traveling with her family in Iran where she met a shoeless homeless girl in the streets that was about her age. She made money by weighing people. After speaking with her for a few minutes, Angelina noticed the scars on the girl's feet and asked the girl what her dream is. The girl said she wanted to be a doctor but she couldn't because she had to make money for her family. Angelina did what came natural to her, she gave the little girl her shoes and told her to not give up on her dreams. Since then, Angelina has performed barefoot in honor of that little girl and to those who are less fortunate around the world. She keeps this promise to this day. Yes, three! She’s mentioned at that age that she wanted “…to be on that Simon show…” She actually started singing at eighteen months. Her mother heard singing coming from her bedroom and was shocked to see that it was Angelina laying on her bed, holding a toy microphone while “singing” Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You”. If you play this interview, you can see this brief footage of Angelina singing at this early age at 2:05. This interview was done in Germany so make sure you have English subtitles turned on. BTW, Angelina was singing in English at 1-1/2, despite her first language being Norwegian. She can be seen speaking German in this interview - at the time she was just learning German in school. Why does Angelina sing barefooted? Angelina Jordan is known as "The Barefoot Princess" or "The Barefoot Princess of Jazz," amongst many other names. She always performs barefooted, whether in front of a live audience or during a studio performance. The story is that while living in the Middle East, at 6 years old, Angelina came across an orphaned girl, of her own age, sitting in the street, weighing people on a bathroom scale to earn money. Angelina said to herself, "I would like to share her life for one second to know what it is like to sit alone, wet, and damp, and barefoot in a corner of the street." Angelina could see the girl's bare feet were scarred and that it was cold outside, so she offered her own shoes to the girl. Little Angelina says that she really loved her shoes, as they were very nice and she knew she would miss them. But she saw the other little girl’s need for them, which outweighed her own desire to keep them. So she insisted the little girl take them. Angelina called her Princess, even though the girl said she didn't live in a castle, but the ruins of a building next to where she sat. After sharing their hopes and dreams, the little girl said of Angelina's wish to sing for the world, "You will become the one you dream of and when your dreams come true, you have to remember the poor children without shoes; and I will pray for you Angelina.” Later that day, 6 y/o Angelina wrote in her diary, "The world is very strange. Right then and there, I felt as if a door in my heart opened up, and it was filled with lots of lights. It was as if there was, from Earth to Heaven, a staircase. I climbed the stairs. To be able to do something for another human - it was such a big thing…hard to describe really.” From that point on, Angelina takes off her shoes, in honor of ‘Princess’ and all the other less fortunate children of the world, who are orphaned, hungry, or in want of even basic clothing. In 2015, at the age of 9, Angelina wrote a book about the encounter, as everyone continued to ask why she sang barefoot. Her grandmother, Mery Zamani, created the artwork for the book. So at 9, Angelina Jordan became the youngest published author in Norway. Wonderful reaction you 3. Yes she did want to sing for Simon, but was to young. Her mom told her she would have to wait till she was 7 to audition for Norway’s Got Talent and she did (her mom Sara was hoping she would forget, but she didn't). The remaining Queen members saw this AGT-C audition & were so blown away by it, that they posted it on their account "WOW!!! What a rendition @angelinajordan". They were so impressed with the song 🎵 that they gave her the rights to her version and their blessing to record it. Angie would not sign with Simon like the top 5 acts did so she got 6th overall. AGT-C was looking for a Las Vegas act and Angelina is no Vegas act. (Same thing happened to Laura Bretan, you should check out her audition on AGT, it's also awesome)

Angelina has been singing since she was 18 months(there's video on the Internet of it from a Norwegian TV special). She fell in love with jazz and blues from a young age and loves to sing that style. Her family are very protective of her and have vetoed songs they felt weren't appropriate; they've also required Angelina to re-write lyrics to be more age-appropriate. Well, regarding the "10 yrs of waiting to sing for Simon" She was 3 yrs when she first saw Simon C in one of his creations - singing competitions, and she asked her mother if she could sing for him. Her mother ofc told ANGELina that she was too young. Age 7 she auditions to Norway's Got Talent, and wins it short time after turning 8. ANGELINA was 2/3 months short of her 14th birthday so she was probably closer to aged 4 when she saw Simon on TV , and AGT had asked ANGELINA to perform on AGT before this but the AGT contract was to controlling so it was declined only to return and negotiate a more acceptable contract allowing ANGELINA control of her own destiny .

ANGELINA was told to say she won NGT aged 7 by AGT for the sake of recording continuity as the show was not broadcast until 2/ 3 months later .the statement she made was technically wrong but it was intentional she was well aware she was aged 8 when she won NGT in fact she was aged 7 only for her 1st performance of gloomy Sunday she was aged 8 for her second performance the judges cut round with no audience when she performed I'm a fool to want you , a cappela .and of course all other performances that followed.

Angelina being barefoot is because when she was a little girl she met a little girl that earned her living by measure peoples weight. The girl had no shoes. Angelina and the girl talked for a while and the girl wanted to be a doctor. Angelina gave the girl her own shoes and told her to keep on going for her dreams. From that day Angelina performes barefoot until every child in the world has shoes.

The three year old comment is not hard to believe. I first saw her perform on youtube back about ten years ago when I pulled up a video of her pre-auditioning for Norway's Got Talent. She was six, and what she did for the panel on that show was not something she learned the weekend prior. We do read the comments. The first song we ever heard from her was I put a spell on you from when she was 6 years old. This video was the second time we had ever seen her and no one had told us about her singing barefoot before us seeing this video. After reading many other comments, we now know why she sings barefoot. It is because she feels that everyone in the world should have a pair of shoes and until they all do, she will always sing barefoot. Much respect to this young lady. Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. Angelina says her shoes don’t fit her well and she wants to give her shoes to the orphan girl who thanks Angelina for giving her the shoes. Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl replied, “I want to become a doctor, but that will never happen since I have no parents and I have siblings so I have to do whatever is necessary for us to survive.” Angelina told the girl to never give up on her dreams. The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. The poor girl said she would pray every day so Angelina’s dream would come true. Someone has sent us a link to that video. We just haven't been able to get to that one yet. We really don't get much "spare time" at all. We have jobs and these videos take at least an hour each to put out sometimes longer. We just do the best we can to try to please everyone, but that is impossible. Yeah headstrong kid, some kids are different. Maybe a 3 year old wouldn't want to sing for Simon, and wouldn't remember that. But a 7 year old wouldn't take the world by storm on Norway's got talent and then win it either. And a 1 and a half year old wouldn't be singing real songs. You might not remember when you were three, but I'm sure your parents and grandparents do (or did, when they were alive). Same with Angelina. Heck, her family might even have a video where a three-year-old Angelina can be heard talking about wanting to sing for Simon. We haven't seen it yet, but it might exist. She's had a camera in her face since she was born.😁 We've seen a handful of videos of her between the ages of 1 and 5. I'm sure there's a *lot* more from those "early years" that hasn't seen the light of day. I wouldn't be at all surprised if that included some kind of evidence of the claim about wanting to sing for Simon when she was 3.
