Sorry Jen, I knew this song would hit you hard, hits us all the same way, anyone who has lost a loved one in their life. Sending you a big Hug Jen and thanks for doing my request in such a beautiful and sincere way as this. Angelina wrote this song at 13-14 years old I believe and she said in an interview that when she did the original recording she had tears running down her cheek. This wonderful song is about loss but also about healing as well. I have to believe that last "belt" at the end of the song was meant for her Grandpa, (she lost both) and I am fairly certain that wherever he is, he heard that beautiful voice. Watched her in Norway on the 10th July - very emotional. When she introduced suspicious minds she was saying how happy she was to be back singing live, and she had tears running down her face. Don't know how she managed to sing after crying like that. When she belted out this song the band members just smiled and shook their heads in amazement.

I really understand the bands reaction. I was at both the Kongsberg and Kurbadhagen concert, even if the belting from this concert in Kongsberg is unbelievable, she managed to enhance it even a little step better at Kurbadhagen. Imagine having the professional video and recording from NRK directly from the mixing table at this last concert. (Of course there are a lot of amateur recordings from this concert, but nothing compares to a professional recording from a national TV station)

Her Grandmother had a health crisis with surgery and this was the first year her grandma wasn't with her for her concerts, because she was recovering and couldn't travel. So she was really feeling the potential of the loss of her Grandma this summer and even dedicated the song to her for her concerts in Norway this summer. Oh, Happy Birthday! Great reaction Jen. I was at her final summer concert on July 10th, before she sang this song so was so emotional, there were tears running down her cheeks, a fan at the front offered her a tissue, she was so touched by that, she composed herself and sang the song, perhaps with even more feeling than the one you just listened to. By chance, that night, the almost full Moon was high in the sky, shining very brightly, in the song she says that her grandpa is watching her from the Moon - well, it looks like he must have heard her call and was smiling brightly. I am sure that this song has helped many thousands of people get through the hard time of the pandemic...

At age 78, I recently had Quadruple open heart surgery, and the worst part about lying in a hospital bed for 8 days, is not being able to hear, or see Angelina Jordan for 8 days. I am so happy for her Norway concerts being a smashing success. It proves to everybody that she is mature beyond her years, and ready for a world tour in 2023. @@JustJenRx Our beloved ones live on in us, we can only honor them by doing the right thing. Oh, her japanese grandfather took little Angelina with him in Oslo when he visited the homeless people. He was very respected in the community as he brought them food and also tried to find jobs for them. "The streets of Oslo saw me growing up" as she sang, and today, especialy at Christmas, she is sometimes seen in the evening, bringing dinner to the homeless of LA. This "little" girl is honoring the legacy of her grandpa, and I think has nothing to fear in the streets of LA. There seems to be a lot of homeless angels out there. Jen, in 2018 Angelina lost a member of the royal family and a artist she adored, shortly after that her good friend Amici died also, both self-inflicted, and than her paternal grandfather died. a year later her maternal most beloved japanese granddad passed after suffering along time in the hospital. AJ wrote about that day. Angelina sang tributes for any of them. Peace and blessings.

In my opinion during this particular interpretation Angelina is basically interpreting her heart ache. The best young female artist "IMO" just 17 years old today - Angelina sings better than already established world stars. No one can stop Angelina from becoming a world star. That's just how it is! Her first album will be released in 2023 with Republic Records. Over the years, she will become a legend for the great moments in the world. She has plenty of time. Remember she is just 17 tears old, which we forget when we see her perform. Republic Records who should also be praised for appreciating this unique talent.
