Angelina Jordan is an exeptional Jazz based Singer of our Time. Shes not an Adele or Amy Whinehouse, no Edda James and no Whitney Houston, shes a reincarnation of them whos already past away and kind of next Level, because of her own Style and Voice Range abillitys, of them who are still alive. U cant compare Angelina in Copy to no one, because her Voice is so unique and kind of a Miracle wich adds it to her humbleness. If she want to she points at a Song and says: "Ok, this Song is mine now!" Then she starts to sing it her own Style and there she goes, its hers because u will hear a Version, thats different, like u never heard before. Ull get it translated from Music into feelings as well from her either u understand the lyrics or not, u got the chills. This for me she is a Talent that u wont see often in the World. To me the emotional impetus of Adele's performance comes from her personal pain as a result of divorce, so the emotion reflects her direct experience of inner pain and loss. Angelina redirects the emotional content in a broader sense, intensifying Adele's inner angst and adding her own ornaments as only a jazz singer can. In my opinion, Angelina is very adept at putting herself into a song and expressing the emotions of the lyrics fully and authentically. She doesn't have to have the experience of, say, divorce, to express the pain that a lyrical story of divorce has. She has been doing that since her first audition in Norway's Got Talent. I have listened to Angelina's performance of this song well over a hundred times. I have become addicted to her rendition and emotional expression. I can only imagine what future performances will be like. Bravo! Angelina!

When Angelina and her friends at Republic Records write a song of this caliber in which Angelina pours this much of herself into as she did this cover, the song will be on the Billboard charts and Angelina will no longer be able to wander around Los Angeles without crowds of fans following her. Not to dismiss her earlier attempts at original music but they were good but not stellar and Angelina didn't have the same level of performance as she has had with many covers. But I am confident that over the next few years all the pieces are going to get put together for her to reach her potential.

Thank you for this! With a cover a comparison to the original seems inevitable. To me music and art is, to parafrase Joni Mitchell, about touching souls. I enjoy both and this one touches me more. If you want to do more songs by Angelina, the studio version of a Million Miles, dedicated to her grandfather is touching and the jazzy cover of Billy Jean is crazy great as well. So much to choose from and to enjoy :-)
