This is one of her signature songs that she has perfromed many times when she was younger.... In those versions she used a lot of vocal fry in this more of a straight tone... For Quincy's orchestra she sounds like she could of been the singer for any of the top big bands from the 40's.. This orchestra has played with the top singers in the world, so when they applaud afterwards tou know they realize what a major talent she is.... If you want to listen to AJ at he height of her vocal skills listen to her 2022 version of My Funny Valentine ... It is the most artistic vocal performance I have heard in my 69 years ...

I agree that MFV 2022 shows off her voice and all the textures more than anything she has done. And 2016 MFV is a great for a two song reaction and comparison. You can see her at 10 trying to do the things she’s able to do at 16. Just amazing at ten she knew what she wanted it to sound like. I think the 10 year old version is outstanding. What an awesome experience for her!!! And US, and Quincy and everyone who was invited to help him celebrate his birthday... Now that is a proper reaction - yes you really got the feel of that! This was a rehearsal for the concert at the O2 arena in London, Angelina was personally invited by Quincy Jones to open the show with this song. They were in a church hall in central London, from a music stand you can see that it is the rehearsal venue for the London Symphony orchestra, though this is not them. The video was filmed on a simple camcorder by Angelina's mother, from a balcony - the audio was very poor, so what you are hearing is a recording by BBC radio of the live performance, hence the good quality. Angelina makes it look so easy, that is the real talent! She was so excited as she went on stage, a quick word from Quincy then she strode forward and delivered this in front of a sell out audience of thousands. It's difficult to imagine how she held it together, never mind giving this mind blowing performance.

Quincy arranged this song for Frank, and so they are using the same arrangement here for Angelina. He personally asked Angelina to come to his birthday concert and be the opening number. She wasn’t even on the printed program, so the audience was surprised when she walked out on the stage to sing. Quincy has equated her talent with Michael Jackson. There’s a behind-the-scenes video of her in her long gown, flowers in her hair and barefoot walking out and greeting Quincy who was sitting on the stage. This is one of my very favorite performances! And yes, reactors have started reacting to her Tik Tok and Instagram performances, especially the longer ones.

This is Quincey's score that he wrote for Frank Sinatra when he was the band leader. This is an edit of the live performance (better recording) and the rehearsal video taken by her family. I listened to this on the radio the next night, when BBC2 broadcast the whole show. Angelina was the star of the evening (imho).

I’ve been a fan of Angelina, since the first time I heard her. I’m a relatively new subscriber to your channel, and I enjoy your efforts to try to put into words, what she does so effortlessly. I can’t wait until you hear her performance of “My Funny Valentine “ posted 2/14 /20, when she had just turned 16. The vocal maturity she has gained to her mind boggling skills is unbelievable. I'd love to see your breakdown of Angelina's Mics in her performance of "I Put a Spell On You' Black & white in the studio. She uses one mic in the studio that I am pretty sure you will recognize. Again, I have no knowledge on this. She has a second mic again should be recognizable as she performs live with the band behind her. 'I'm guessing most of the vocals were recorded in the booth but I would love to know if there was any of both. This is probably Angelina's most Iconic performance and one of her most watched and I haven't heard anyone who knows how this was likely done.

I just wonder if they did a live performance when they did the old school mic and just meshed the video with the audio recording or if it was lip synced which Angelina has obviously done. 'Fly Me to the Moon' leading the horse.at what I was guessing was near some salt deposits, I was guessing California or Arizona. I'm guessing also on 'Million Miles' official Video. Surprised he hasn't been inundated with requests for this. I don't know what he reads but he only responds to 1 or 2 comments after each upload so I don't know if he's evan seen my request or that of others.

Great reaction to a great song a, actually one of the voice coaches said he felt that she was marking at this rehearsal, then played the actual performance, and pointed out where the differences were. It’s funny you mentioned that it was like abstract art, because she does paint also designs some of her outfits, does most of her own arrangements (not this one it’s Quincy Jones own arrangement he did for Sanatra) this girl is truly the whole package.
