@@most2dot0 really? Who cares? She’s 6 months past being 8 years old. It’s totally irrelevant whether she’s 8 or 9. What IS totally relevant is that this gift from the Stars was, is, and will be a master of her craft for many years to come. People like you who just can’t help themselves and feel the need to correct every little mistake they see in the comments really take all the fun out of it for the rest of us. If you catch someone intentionally lying, that’s one thing, otherwise try to give it a break!

Hi Jesse, This is one of my favorite early Angelina performances. Honestly they all are favorites, but there is something about this one that is so impressive. She is only 8 years old and she masters a James Brown classic! In this particular performance, the grit and the passion are unique and we don't see this that often from Angelina. Not that she doesn't have it, but the songs that she has done don't require it for the most part. The other two songs that come to mind where she demonstrates this are Feeling Good, at the climax, and Lovin You, throughout the entire song! Here, she was genuinely having a good time and was showing a confidence level that allowed her to interact with the audience directly, something she doesn't have a chance to do very often. Great reaction and hope to see you again soon. Peace and love.

I'm a bit late commenting but here goes. I've seen this entire concert many times. Awesome. It is hard to fathom a 9 YO sweet girl fronting a jazz band kicking *** and taking names. I think the trumpet player is the same one from Summertime on NGT and also from I Put A Spell On You. Lots of kids at this concert, as in her age. The first time I saw this, it sounded like they were school mates. A more recent comment put the venue way north. Whatever, it is great to see young fans. I've been listening to her for at least 5 years. Before I accidentally discovered her, I was a hard rock/metal type. She changed all of that. I think when she did I Put A Spell On You, it was literal. My main conclusion is that at whatever age she is when singing, she is the best there is at that age and probably at any age. When I had been listening to her for at least a year, I thought I should listen to all of the other singers that people seemed to like as being other hot singers. I listened to several songs from each. (I won't go into names.) Nice voices but nothing compelling to hear more. I'm not interested in singers per se, just that one. Something about that 8 YO jazzy voice and What A Difference A Day Makes set the hook. One last thing. I would like to hear her collaborate with Pearl Jam, also signed to Republic Records. She can sing anything so why not? Out of wine so no more rambling.
