I have been a Dear for 8 years and I can give you my personal comment that I kept sharing everywhere. So: Dimash is a miracle, so his absolute powerful and unshakable presence on stage, compared by some to a god of music, sometimes to a prince or king, the energy he absorbs from the Universe, then how he anchors himself to the Earth, his connection with the Divinity, all at a place, it gives him the strength and confidence to "command the audience, to order the orchestra, to order the song", so that everything comes out the way he wants and how Dimash feels, that is unique. All these qualities are only at Dimash, absolutely. The goosebumps and hypnosis induced by Dimash are the characteristics of his concerts and appearance on stage, which are shaped by his endless beauty, sometimes translucent, sometimes sensual, sometimes angelic !!! Dimash is storm, thunder, lightning, sun, rain, smile, but also love and last but not least he is our hope and our daily light, he is our spiritual food when you put your head on the pillow and start dreaming like tomorrow it's a day… !!!!! Dimash has God's kiss on his heart!!!! First, Ave Maria is a superhuman vocal exception, which takes you by surprise. Being a vocal song, a pure masterpiece, the magic of Dimash's voice is unleashed in the ether and is the fire that burns the soul and heart through love, beauty, elevation and purity. The essence of Dimash's voice as in a perfect symbiosis, and the vocal chords transport you to another dimension. Second, from my point of view, I cannot make a top ranking of Dimash's songs, the original ones, regardless of the composer (Igor, Dimash or someone else), leaving aside the covers. I come back to the idea, so I can't make a top. Why? Simple: each song by Dimash has a different theme, a different melodic line, different feelings, different tonalities. Each track is unique in lyric, interpretation, musical essence and message. If you listen to one, you like it more, if you listen to another, you like it even more, you can't decide because you can't. There are pieces with a religious touch, patriotic pieces, pieces of love, pieces of courage etc. If in an interview Dimash was asked what song he likes, I don't know what answer he would give... Almost all of them are masterpieces. It is as if Dimash is a father of dozens of children. I don't think he could tell a difference between them. Each piece has its place in time and space, it is appropriate in a certain context, event. Each song takes you on a certain journey, be it magical, be it angelic, be it love or be it a story, either sad, or happy, or fighting, or patriotic. We have to be consistent and say that all the pieces are exceptional, not one can be compared to another, because a parent loves all his children the same!!!

I'm always amazed at how long it has taken for some reactors to get around to reacting to this amazing singer. His vocal performance at a 2017 singing competition that went viral on youtube roped me in and I have never been released. No worries, symptoms of first time hearing/seeing Dimash include the urge to close your eyes, hold your breath, cry, and lose all semblance of language. Not to mention goosebumps, chills, etc., you get the idea! Even with all that trauma it seems you can tell that Dimash is the greatest vocal artist of our time. So he sings whatever he wants to and composes in a completely different way. He never stays in one genre, not even within one song. He is ahead of his time and it may be a millennia before we ever find anyone remotely like him again. Dimash is music in its purist form.

I just discovered your channel and I liked and subscribed hoping for more Dimash reactions😊 Dimash is a 30-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly anyway, but it does happen sometimes😅). However, if you include the notes he has sung live in his concerts so far, you get almost 8 octaves (7.7 from vocal fry C1 (B0) to the whistle register D8; this note is no longer on the piano). At least that's what he's shown us so far. And this in all registers (chest, mixed and head voice up to the whistle register). The transitions from one register to the other are so fluid that they are sometimes not recognized even by vocal coaches or professional singers. His voice is the result not only of his God-given talent, but also of his almost 25 years of hard daily training. From the age of 5 he attended music school in his hometown of Aktobe. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads, RnB and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. Mainly classic and pop, so he created a new crossover genre. And meanwhile in more than 15 languages. And at his concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan on September 23, 2022 he sang in 7 languages in one concert! He sings no mainstream and is a completely independent artist. He is managed by his father Kanat, who founded his own company "DimashAli Creative Center". The logo can be seen at the beginning of many of Dimash's videos. Maybe that’s the reason you never heard of him yet. He doesn’t sell his soul to a music label. He doesn’t want to be dictated by money when he has to sing what, when, where and how. Many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, intelligent, respectful and humble person. He respects people regardless of their original, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. At his concerts he tells the audience that he has given concerts in many countries and repeatedly emphasizes that he loves everyone in every country. And there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And I absolutely believe this. His recent concerts were in Prague and Düsseldorf (end of November 2024). It was so amazing and it lasts more than 3 hours. I still haven't really arrived in the here and now😅. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you think you know him and his art, that you've seen the best and that it's impossible for it to get any better, you realize you're so wrong. He's very spiritual and thankful for the gift God has given him. But he also works very hard to constantly improve his vocal skills. He said in an interview that he trains at least 3 hours every day, if necessary, it can be 10 hours to prepare for a concert. He loves swimming and also a lot under water. Maybe that's why he has this large lung capacity to hold the notes as long as he does. He is constantly his biggest competitior to get better and better. He is a real perfectionist. He's a singer you can't put in any box. He sings almost every genre there is and likes to try new things. You can't compare him to any other singer on this planet. He has so many different music genres and styles. He loves Freddie Mercury, but also Michael Jackson, Lara Fabian, Luciano Pavarotti and Eminem and you can also hear that one or the other has an influence on some of his songs. Every time you watch a new video, expect the unexpected. Even the covers he sings he makes his own and brings elements into the song that you would never expect. Don't be surprised if you get suggestions for songs you may have already seen. Dimash has different versions of many of the same songs. They are all worth seeing and always a little different. Not only can he sing perfectly and his performances are outstanding he's also an incredibly good actor. Check out his music videos. They are amazing. You think I’m exaggerating? No, I don’t think so😄. He sang this song on his digital concert in January 2021 during the pandemic. He had to cancel his tour and did this concert for his Dears/fans. That’s why there was no audiende to be seen or heard. SOS is a song in the French rock-opera „Starmania“ from 1978. The first who presented this song was the French singer and songwriter Daniel Balavione. And of course the language is also French. The phrase „Sleep, child, sleep“ is sung in the musical as the character bends over the corpse of his girlfriend, who has committed suicide SOS was the first performance of the China competition (in 2017) and was his first appearance in this show. The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. All the singers invited to this show are already well-known artists in China who have already won awards. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card and the youngest in the history of this show. They became aware of him because he had already won some important competitions in Kazakhstan and Belarus, among others. He was still completely unknown in China. I get goosebumps every time I hear it. Stranger was written by the famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter Igor Krutoy. His and Dimash's collaboration created true masterpieces. He writes songs that only Dimash can sing with his vocal range, such as Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. If Igor Krutoy is there, the song was also written by him. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship. He wrote this song and others especially for Dimash’s wide vocal range. But you have to be careful with this song. It gets blocked a lot😐. Greetings and love from Germany👋❤️

After about 5 years this song still stands out for me: the message, the beauty, the emotion, his voice! Just occured to me that weve all had moments when we're down on our knees asking for help and redemption, and maybe thats why it strikes such a cord! But it lifts me up to realize there is a force that leads us through our challenges! Dimash is that messenger for me and his 2 billion fans. I hope everyone gets to be touched by his music, heart, and soul! Youre the best reaction so far because you really get him! Thanks so much for your truly appropriate reaction! Hes involved with writing many of his songs, and bringing us such beatiful music we would have never heard if not for him! Hello!! Welcome to the Dimash era!!! The first time I heard Dimash I was surprised just like you. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. My first songs I heard from Dimash were SOS and Sinful passion. You will be tied up like all of his "dears”. That's what Dimash calls his fans and there are millions of us around the world. Dimash was born into a household of musicians. At age 5 he began training at a music school where he was diagnosed with "absolute pitch." At age 6 he won his first piano competition. He continued his studies and graduated from the University of Classical and Contemporary Music. He has a master's degree in composition and is pursuing a doctorate in musicology. He is a multi-instrumentalist (6), as well as a vocalist and composer. He has ventured into acting, audiovisual direction, dance, advertising modeling (he is 6.3 feet tall). He has won countless awards and honors throughout his career. The most surprising thing is that he is barely 30 years old. He speaks Kazakh (native language),Russian and English and studies Mandarin Chinese. He sings in 14 languages. Finally I will tell you that above all these characteristics, he is an extraordinary human being who loves peace, respectful of his parents, family and culture and the best ambassador of his country to the world!!! @@GoatWorthy_He performed in New York just before the pandemic. He sold out the Barclays Center, in Brooklyn, on 10th Dec 2019. You can find the whole concert on his KZbin channel, part of his Arnau Tour. His staging and showmanship are epically good. Fans flew in from all around the globe to see him and were not disappointed!

He is known on the eastern side, but the West ,and especially the Young know about him a little, because there is nowhere to discover him ! OMG you Sir just put into words why we seemingly can't breathe and listen to Dimash at the same time! We're holding our breath, because even a breath sound from our bodies might make us miss a note from his mouth. So as to not miss a note, we hold our breath unconsciously until our bodies say BREATHE STUPID or you're gonna die & go to Heaven...which of course listening to Dimash makes us feel as if we HAVE died & gone to Heaven. Some people say they listen to Dimash to relax...I feel like I've run a marathon race after listening to Dimash. (of course when I say listen, I actually mean watch & listen, because it's HIM, his performance that's so mesmerizing. Dimash is not something I'd listen to, say when driving the car or while cleaning the house...for me it's the EYES and the EARS in combination that make Dimash so enjoyable. ❤ Krista in Colorado
