Besides the incredible strength, the perfect pitch high and low, the vibrato, the rhasp, the timing, breath control, the confidence, the soul, the emotions, her unique timbre, her tone, is the ease with which 12 years young Angelina sings this song (and all her performances), is this perhaps the most remarkable of all. Not a single sign of nerves. I believe she's born on the stage and it definitly belongs to her.

Of course she has trained and practiced many hours, but without basic structure, nothing happens unless you have a gift to begin with. From what I feel about her is if she is singing a cover from (Adele) Angelina has a way of finessing the sound to what she wants to sing. The airey notes, the rasp in her voice, she can change the song for what she wants to do with it right then. But when Adele sings the same song he doesn't seem to step out and put a spin on it. It sounds like solid notes with no variation in how she sings, It always sounds the same, it sounds solid all the way though the song.

I want to add something obvious but I think worth mentioning, and that is her musical IQ. By that I mean she intuitively grasps the essence of what makes these songs memorable. Then she injects that essence into her performance, so you feel like you're hearing a faithful rendition of the song, except better.

She uses her voice the way a brilliant musician uses his instrument. She understands what it can do and has the good sense to understand how to use it for any song she sings. She is a vocal virtuoso, she never has to break a sweat or pop a blood vessel. I have always loved female singers and have a shitload of them old and new that I adore. but I have never been as impressed with any one of them as I have been with this little girl.. It just shouldn't be able to happen, but it does time and time again.

It's a pity these videos rarely show a few moments before the music starts and a few moments after the music stops. Before the music starts, she is just a shy young girl (12 in this case) and almost invariably she gives a shy smile and a little wave. Then the music starts and she BECOMES the music! Then, once the music stops, she quietly becomes just a young girl again, and usually gives a shy smile and a little wave.

I totally agree with you. Her voice, the colourful sound of it, the feelings she Conways, her timing and rhythm and style, just blows me away every time I listen to her. She is a precious gift to the world. She leaves you in a state of mind full of positive energy with warm and good feelings, every time I see and listen to her. By the way I, I really like reactions from GreyWolf. He at least try to explain the greatness of her voice and what emotional impact she has on people when she perform. It's crazy, but for me she has the greatest voice of all time. Crazy, because she's only fourteen!

That note in that slide she does at around 5:50 almost sounds electronically enhanced, but I'm sure it's not, may be an artifact of the mic. You know the voice that shatters glass, hers must play a number on the electronics in a mic. That was very unique and awesome.

I read a post on one of her vids that pretty much criticized everyones amazing responses, saying enough training could produce her sound. ARE YOU F****** KIDDING ME? I will not get into the twisted psyche of such a person but will say, there is NO training that could produce such a masterful quality, NONE! I am among the population of humans that has no singing voice and almost no true knowledge of the dynamics of the sounds a voice box makes but I KNOW, not think, KNOW this is a baby girl that has been blessed with an amazing gift. Anyone who has the pleasure of "training" her will be a better person for it! I pray Angelina has a good life doing exactly what shes doing! Side note: Amy Winehouse? Seems their souls may have crossed paths along with many other old souls. Angelina may be a child but she possesses a soul that has been seasoned to perfection.

I agree with You on every word You say. This performance is simply outstanding. And she sets the pace right from the opening, just listen to the reaction from the audience as she starts singing. She totally nails that opening in every possible aspect - and not just the opening. She does it every time and all the time. Your other rewind to listen to "that note" @ 6:35... look again and pay attention to the conductors reaction ;) and btw - the _thing_ on her head is of course a wreath of flowers p.s. I forgot to pay homage to the 1st clarinet - he's really adding a certain something to this recording.

I believe the flowers around her head are to honor a Norwegian tradition. I have her cd ' It's Magic', and yes, my brain did not want to accept that the voice coming from my speakers was from that small girl on the cover, even though I had been listening to her for years. You should react to Mr. Lonely from the cd. Also her 'The Show Must Go On' and 'Feeling Good' are so worth a reaction. She can hold her notes!

I don`t know of any norwegian specific tradition on such flowerdecors as Angelina is wearing. I think Sweden has more like a tradition like this, girls and women putting flowers in there hair as they celebrate midsummer, and as Angelinas father is swedish so perheps. Otherwise I guess this is just Angelina loveing flowers, and making this a part of here image. By the way, I totaly agree with you on what you says about her CD. To me that record is getting better and better. I just can`t wait for her next album.

Actually I think it comes from her family who are immigrants to Norway. I'm sure her family is from Ukraine or somewhere in Eastern Europe originally so maybe that's where it comes from 🤔

With Angelina, it's so very difficult to know what to say, where to begin, where to stop. She is my favorite singing artist straight away. I have been listening to music of all genres for over 65 years and I am here to tell you, she is far and away my absolute favorite artist of all time. I am mystified when she sings and evokes such a deep emotions, emotions which come to each of through our life's experiences. She is so young, yet she is able to put CHILLS over my body, it doesn't matter what she performs. But, this rendition is just unbelievable. I do love her so! As I have said so many times, all of the superlatives from all the known languages would never pay her with an adequate compliment, any such words would just amount to a gross under statement where this glorious singing voice is concerned.
