Angelina just attended Le Bal, the annual Debutante Ball in Paris, France. She will be performing at the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony on December 11th. Angelina promised us a Christmas EP. She is the singing voice for the 2026 World Cup. Angelina will turn 18 years old on January 10th, 2024.

Heard this on a SoFi Commercial just now and it knocked my socks off. Had no idea at all it was Angelina Jordan. In fact this is my first time listening to her. This song is fire. Has me hooked on her as a fan. Why is this not playing like crazy on the radios? What a voice. Would have never guessed she is as young as she is.

As other's wrote, it's used in an ad, and then suddenly was released. Probably on short noticed, as it appeared on Spotify only a day after it was released on other streaming services and music stores. The comments are not available, as this is not a genuine KZbin video, but an audio only release via KZbin Music. Those never have comments turned on. There were also no notifications to subscribers of Angelina's channel for the same reason.

The lack of advance notice probably explains the very low number of views for a new Angelina release. No anticipation or buildup like with most of her other releases.

the song came out first in a nationwide ad for so-fi stadium......then she released it....nobody knew a thing about it...ad plays during games and is a lending program for women...sofi stadium is home to raiders and chargers among others...

There is a feeling that this is the EP's missing track that completes the story arc. And yes - a big surprise to everyone and so much mystery - why are the comments disabled, why is it buried so deep on her channel that it only has 56k views - even though it should be on the radio everywhere.

Sofi Finance Company approached Angelina's management to produce an upbeat background song for a commercial to play during footfall games at Sofi Stadium during TV commercial breaks. Like all Angelina's songs, they're too good for a 30-second commercial spot! Republic Records released it has a single to piggyback on her new EP "Old Enough." Reply

It was done for a commercial for SoFi and is being played at football games played in SoFi stadium at least through the rest of this season. Possibly from now on at all games. Think it was just written, then SoFi requested the ability to use it. It is such a great song and hopefully will really put her on the commercial track as well. Could be extremely lucrative financially as well as getting her noticed by radio atationd and others. Go AJ, commercial work has never hurt any musicians!

It's a Ridley Scott epic so needs to be seen on the big screen - lavish societal scenes and expansive, sometimes gory, battle scenes all expertly shot and directed. However, and I hope I don't burst your bubble 😬, the main focus is a character portrayal of Napoleon (and to a large extent Josephine) expertly done by Joachin Phoenix, who, in my humble opinion, only gave half a character study. What is missing are those elements of his character that made him one of the greatest figures of European history - both an inspirational civil and military leader with countless great achievements in both spheres. I have to be honest and say I think the better character portrayal was that of Josephine - an aristocrat in a very perilous situation following the Revolution who has to use her intelligence, charm and feminine wiles to survive, thrive and protect her family. If you are planning on seeing it yourself, I hope you forget everything I've written and just go and enjoy it 🙂

I was wondering if you can help me with Angelina’s range. In Our Time, I think her bottom note is a Gb 2, and on Unchained Melody, I think is a G6, which would be 4 octaves plus a half step. With the richness in her voice in both the low and high ends, I find that remarkable. Did I get the pitches right and is it unusual for someone to sing 4 octaves? Thank you.

Please ... somebody ... tell me something to have it make sense to me! Why have a premiere set for 2 days in advance? Why even have a premiere at all? Is it supposed to build anticipation and thereby create more viewership? I find it somewhat annoying .. is it just me?

I think you hit the nail on its head, Ron. More chances for more people who are interested to take note, maybe to make sure there will be as many as possible in the chat during the premiere. Which is great I think, as long as the reactor himself/herself shows up in the chat. It is a very good opportunity to say something live. Like a suggestion maybe, hopefully being reinforced by people in the chat, letting the reactor understand that it is a good suggestion for another reaction. That being said, I too was surprised to see that it was a notification only. I had been looking forward to the reaction for at least 30 minutes, having a few videos queued up for watching. When it fits my schedule, I do premiers when I am a big fan of the artist and also a fan of the artist's fans - it's a fun opportunity to hang out and discuss the song and my reaction to it with fellow fans in real time. I usually try to give several days advance notice of the premiers because not everyone gets on youtube every day, and I would like to make sure that if they would like to join the conversation, they know when it's happening. 🤷‍♀️

And waiting for an event with joyous anticipation makes me feel as anxious as a young boy waiting for Christmas morning! I want to open the presents RIGHT NOW!! I'm a longtime big fan of Angelina and I love your appreciative reactions to her .. but in the moment, online social events are mostly lost on me.
