Stand in the same place for several decades and eventually a genius will walk on directly by - Maria Callas, Kate Bush, and now Angelina. It's been a long dry spell. P.S. In reply to Smyly's comment that she will never get used to Angelina's voice. Very sadly we won't be able to as it's cracking / breaking down due to natural puberty chord changes. It is currently being used on conclusion of a genius phase and soon she could instead sound like Louis Armstrong. We'll have to wait a few months and see. Come what may it's been a fantastic run.

You asked why not many people are reacting to her. The answer (in my opinion) is that you have to be in tune with your own empathy and ability to touch your own heart. She speaks to people who are opening up to themselves as kind and loving people. She is not a performer. Performers fake it. She is not a fake. She is a genuine, real person. Fakes are a dime a dozen and most people who are famous are complete fakes. They smile, express and show cartoon character performances. Angelina is a down to earth, loving being. You can't relate to her unless you see some of that in yourself.

It is April 2022 now and in the past 2 weeks I have listened to many reactions on her singing. Like you, most people react with great emotion and sometimes tears. There are two reactors which now dedicate their reactions just to Angelina's music. The main thing fir most people is that however she sings a song she delivers to you all the feeling and emotion of the song, it's music and it's words. She helps you feel the song in ways others have not done. She is indeed a treasure to the world.

Several people have commented on what she'll be like at 20. By then she'll have experienced many of the emotions that are prevalent in her songs today. This is her first Major Performance in the United States since she was a child, but now an aspiring star. She has a new album of Originals coming soon and this may tie in in some way. I agree with your reaction to Angelina. You might want to react to some of her earlier work ("I Put a Spell On You" when she was 9). She makes every cover her own, Yet she is a chameleon, or perhaps a mockingbird. When she does "I Will Survive" you can close your eyes and hear Donna Summer. When she does "Crazy", You get Patsy Cline at the Grand Ole Opry. She interprets a song as beautifully as she sings.

I didn't know that. Awesome! It's the same way with KZbin. She gets something every time someone watches her videos... and that includes reaction videos. She gives her reactors a percentage of the ad revenue instead of blocking or striking the videos. Very few artists do that. She has an amazing heart to go with her amazing talent. 💕💕

When I listen to her on this song I hear a Bond sound track a scene from one of the movies where he's driving on his way to rescue somebody or stop the bad guy that would be great if she was on a James Bond film sound track. There are many really talented young singers showing up now but Angelina stands out. Most of the others go through the mechanics of producing the song but Angelina brings connection and soul to the production. Many remark on her seeming to have an "old soul". I guess that's as good an explanation as any. So many of the others are really wonderful singers and they can belt and hit high notes and control their voices amazingly. But, (you knew that was coming) they are missing something. Most adult singers can't bring that special something Angelina has that makes her songs so compelling.

The thing with Angelina in addition to her magical rich voice is that she understand that less is more. Just because you can doesn't mean that you should, and she knows this. She dos not growl in every song, or go for the big drama and high volume, she interpreters the song much more deeply and delivers heartfelt renditions without the flash and bang, instead being subtle in the way she chooses to use her voice. One reason I think she is still quite unknown is because she has smart parents who wants her to have a good childhood without to much celebratory factor. You can see that they do not push her to be older then she is, she dos not ware a lot of makeup, she dresses like a adolescent, she still waves and says bye without considering this has gotten comments about her being childish. In the Valarie video you see both the teenager and the child in her in the way she plays in the sand, and in the The Show Must Go On, the mask is probably painted by her little sister and it is not sophisticated but instead of going for an adult look her playful personality is allowed to shown. I am so glad her parents let her be a child as long as she wants, and that they let her linger on the brink of adolescent and lets her keep the child part of herself as long as she need without any kind of pressure to be little grown up. With her old soul voice it would have been so easy to push her to be an adult way too soon.

Very well said. Could be too she not only sounds so unique but is unique, natural and down to earth. Most of these singers today are too over the top, all trying to belt out the highest notes. Just listen to all the knuckleheads in the audience when they scream during a performance on the voice or AGT it’s all about who can scream the loudest. Angelina is on a another level they’ll never know.
