I for one, am learning bit by bit to appreciate the artistry of what I hear....and this is why the Wildness is my preferred source. Many of us got all caught up in the set and monochomatic machinations when it first came out...but this reaction today showed me again what is important in this realm.

I am glad to see you back and reacting too Angelina. Your dropping of the June 15th date as the release date for her album is certainly news. it has been a long time coming and that release date complements her live concerts scheduled for Norway in July nicely. As always I really enjoy the depth you go into on each of your reactions. I have listen to Angelina's cover of this Paul McCartney classic dozens of times. As always she has made this version of the song her own. McCartney's lyrics represent the male perspective of this dissolving relationship. Angelina changes the words and focus to the female perspective. Her voice and interpretation of the lyrics when she sings "why I had to go I don't know he wouldn't say" and "I said something wrong and now I long for yesterday" bring tears to my eyes every time i hear them. It adds a whole new dimension to the song which is incredibly powerful and emotional. She is a once in a lifetime talent and her rendition of this song is in a class by itself.

So much melancholy when she sings the word "Yesterday", you can "feel" her pain. She changed a word at the beginning too: "I'm not the GIRL I used to be" instead of MAN.

Sir Paul should be jealous ! Angelina took one of his best known songs and brought new life to it with her superb vocals and own unique style . Angelina improved it and made it her own as Only The Barefoot Princess can do !!

Really nice, detailed breakdown of this Angelina Masterpiece. This was done by her & her uncle/business manager, Michael Astar, not her record label. This monochromatic room is the same studio she & Michael used for her jazzy/pop version of Billie Jean. She is using her upgraded mic (Neumann TLM 103) & is singing to a karaoke track. I call it a "Masterpiece on a budget," for her cover channel. BTW, where did you hear her album will be released on June 15th? If that's true, I'm ecstatic!

I always appreciate your reactions, so precise, so detailed. Angelina has always been an extraordinary storyteller, and she shows it again here. This cover is not my favorite (due to the arrangement) , but I still let myself be captured by her voice and her talent

does she really put all that thought into it? like in the very first word, "yesterday" being stretched out as you say. And now that's all I can hear .... how she emphasizes "yesterday" and never sings it the same way twice thru out the song. (I so hope that angels really are looking out for Angelina, she really is a gift)

Sorry I missed this… Better late than never: Yesterday…In the lyrics…”there’s a shadow hanging over me” I believe the “shadow” at 1:42min, some of us see in the bookshelf, is grandfather watching over her. I also believe she is addressing this as homage to her Grandfather, who had died March 2018, as Paul did his Mother. I think the shopping cart references her as a young child. (Yesterday)🌺
