A Song For A A song for A by Nico Cartosio is a musical adaptation of a poem by Robert Burns, the famous Scottish poet of the 18th century. The poem, titled "A Red, Red Rose", expresses the poet's love and devotion to his beloved, whom he compares to a rose and a melody. Cartosio composed the music for this song and dedicated it to Angelina Jordan, the Norwegian singer who was 13 at the time of this recording she performed it on his album "Melting". Great reaction, I'm glad you came back with Angelina for her birthday, HAP. This by Nico Cartosio is one of the songs that I love most of Angelina, for me it has a dreamy and romantic musical atmosphere that her voice makes absolutely transcendental, with her soft musical waves that slowly slide around you, it could be the column sound of a day in paradise, the ending with the violin solo is magical ❤️❤️

I love the original music video, but it was nice to see the orchestra at the beginning in this version. I’ve loved this from the first time I heard it, and purchased Nico Cartosio’s album “Melting” solely to have this track. Angelina sounds just as good with a symphony orchestra, as she does with minimal accompaniment. Thank you for reacting to this again in this different video.

It's just beautiful the combination of this orchestra and her voice. It is melting together and you're right HAP, just like a breeze flowting over a field🎶🍃. This is just another example of how Angelina can sing any kind of music, any style, any era, any genre. I don't even know what category to put this in, other than "Amazing Music Category!" She just transports us back to the 18th Century when the poetic lyrics were written by Robert Burns. Even though the music was written by Russian Composer, Nico Cartosio, this is her "original" song. Prodigy, only one I can think of prodigy, she self taught in her singing her grandmother Murry, Mery. Introduced her to jazz one and a half and she took turn off the music like duck to go water to the water and she’s self taught. She had fifth and sixth grade afterschool classes that’s it thank you things to her grandmother she got on Internet interested to Jazz and she’s been in love with music ever since.

I really appreciate your reactions thus I became a subscriber. I noticed though that you haven’t responded to one of the best songs, without question, that Angelina has done. It’s easily in the top 2 or 3 in her catalogue. It’s the number one worldwide hit that should have been, but sadly, for reasons only Angelina, her family, and a handful of others know, it never will be. You really need to listen to it. You will be gobsmacked all over again. Much like the first time you saw I Put A Spell On You. I suspect that when Burns wrote the poem it was about his fantasy of a roll in the hay, not necessarily his reality. We're pretty sure he had a thing for the innkeeper's daughter, Annie, but we don't know if it ever went beyond a crush, and we'll never know. Every traditional Scottish & Irish band has their own version of Rigs of Barley or Corn Rigs and Barley Rigs, all good romping fun, but none anywhere near so lovely as this song that Cartosio & Angelina have made of it.
