That dude playing the piano is Rob Christie Republic Records Studio Director at Universal Music Group Manhattan Beach, California, and he has been working with AJ since she signed with the largest record company in the world at the age of 14, two years ago. Rob was the MC of AJ Christmas Show that aired Dec 23, of 21. AJ’s Christmas Show that live-streamed on Dec 23 of 21 had some of the most important musicians of our time: Frank Sinatra's drummer for 6 years, and sun in-law of the late Henry Mancini, Greg Field has won 9 Grammys, and the bass player, Chuck Berghofer who also played for Sinatra for 6 years accompanied AJ on her Christmas Show, and they stated that she had the "storytelling ability of the greats, Streisand, Fitzgerald, Vaughan, including Sinatra, to name a few. The main pianist, a five-time nominated for Grammys, Shelly Berg, stated in all his years working with the greatest vocalist, he had never encountered a talent like AJ. Did I forget to mention Jimmy Z, the famous Sax Player who worked with Rod Steward, Etta James, the Eurythmics, and Doctor Dre, was part of the band for the show? Jimmy stated that AJ was the best he has ever played for. Rob Christie Republic Records Studio Director at Universal Music Group Manhattan Beach, California played the guitar, and was the MC of the show. (I can't list the complete backgrounds on all the band members because it would take several pages to do them justice.) Angelina stated that she would rather perform than take a breath, and she has never been forced to perform, it has been her decision.

You are correct, she is a special one indeed. And because you mentioned the feet, I have to give the story (with some new quotes from Angelina on the subject) *Why Angelina always sings barefoot* - When Angelina was 6 years old, she was traveling with her grandmother and met a poor girl with no shoes trying to make money on the streets. They talked for a while and discussed their dreams. It was cold and the girl had scars on her feet. Seeing this, Angelina took off her shoes and gave them to the girl. The girl thanked her and told Angelina she would pray for her every day. That day Angelina made a vow to always sing barefoot until all the children of the world could have shoes. To this day, whenever Angelina is performing in public, she sings barefoot as a way to remember that little girl and to remind us that there are less fortunate people in the world that could use our help. Angelina holds so true to this promise that she has sung outdoors in Norway, in december... barefoot. She has sung at a dinner with ex-pres Obama... barefoot. She went on AGT (possibly the biggest stage in the world)...bare foot. She made a promise at 6 years old, and has stuck strong to it for years. That takes a special kind of person. And here are some quotes from an interview with Angelina just last week.... Interviewer: It is a big position to take, and you were only seven years old. Did you figure it out yourself? "Yes, I figured it out myself", Jordan confirms "The first time I was barefoot on stage was on «Norwegian talents». Mom had bought these nice shoes for me and said "I bought these that you can use on stage". And then I said "no, I do not want to use them", she says and laughs a little. "So I explained to my mother that I did not want everything to be about me, I did not want to send out those signals. I wanted to give a more meaningful signal, so then I decided to be barefoot."

The video of "Million Miles" did but, because of the different scenes in that video, it probably didn't seem unusual. I'm willing to cut her some slack for not knowing, on the condition that she keeps reacting to Angelina. 😊😊 I subscribed as I think she will keep it going. Hello I’m new to ur channel and I wanted to say hi and thank you. Watching reaction videos is new to me as well. Angelina Jordan is the reason I started watching them. She woke me up in so many ways and helped me to realize I also need to follow my instincts and get out my comfort zone. As a 45 year old woman who’s been a single mom most of my life. In her always exceptional style she has arranged a tribute to one of her special mentors that helped her develop her voice and style. The retro feel, gold symbolizing his wealth, mirrors for his always in the spotlight image, chandeliers for his stately extravagance, the black pantsuit and red guitar of his 68 Comeback Special, Pricilla's hair style, her pose to at times remind us, or maybe just her, of some of his stage positions, the song choice being his last US number one single, and her ever engaging bluesy style of slowing it down, starting off with a voice that hauntingly but beautifully reminds us of his, and that she's maturing. It is a fitting but sad tribute to a "Good Thing" that died unnecessarily far too early and far too sadly. Excellent reminder that fame can easily corrupt. No one delivers or elicits emotions better than Angelina.

Angelina did arrange her cover of Bohemian Rhapsody! In fact, Brian May reached out to her, to tell her how wonderful her version was, and gave her Queen's blessing, to copyright her arrangement. He also said that Freddie would have loved it! Angelina won Norway's Got talent in 2014, at the age of 7! Her B&W cover of 'I put a spell on you,at the age of 9 with Angelina doing her own arrangements, (since she was 7 years old) is just crazy. In this video, the page the gentleman is holding at the beginning, is actually her handwritten notes laying out what she expects from everyone. In studio, they playfully call her the "Little Boss". Only her grandmother is present, other than the studio crew. On the candle she holds up, is Screamin' Jay Hawkins. He wrote it, and performed it originally. Nina Simone later covered it. 😆💕 Angelina has sung barefoot, except for rehearsals, since age 6 in remembrance of an orphan girl near her age that she met on the street in the middle east. The girl was using bathroom scales and weighing people for money. It was cold, she was barefoot, and her feet were scarred. They chatted about their dreams, and she asked Angelina what her dream was. Of course, Angelina said she wanted to be a singer, and sing for the whole world, and asked the girl about her dream. The girl said she wanted to be a doctor, but that was not possible because she had siblings to care for, and she wished Angelina luck in becoming a singing star, and she told Angelina she would pray for her every day. How is it possible for a 16 yr old teenager to understand or know about Elvis and Priscilla Presley's relationship during the King comeback year 1968? Such a wonderful heartfelt reaction! What a rendition! Her Grandma Mery produced this. Looks like she used the same store she used for her My Funny Valentine video! Her sister Juliette was the older girl. The 2 younger girls are her Uncle Mike's kids, and, 2 time Grammy winner Rob Christie on piano. What a great cover! The beehive hairstyle was to honor Priscilla Presley and the time period she met Elvis. She had the red guitar and the black outfit! I was not expecting this! Thanks 🙏 absolutely gorgeous performance from a musical genius, I’m attending her live concerts in Norway this week, Angelina is absolutely outstanding live, the two youngest girls in the video are Angelina’s cousins, her uncles children and Angelina’s uncle is also her manager, the elder girl is Angelina’s sister Juliette, reason why Angelina is barefoot is while traveling in Iran 🇮🇷 where AJ grandma is from, Angelina met a 6 year old girl who was the same age as AJ , the girl who was poor and wasn’t wearing shoes, Angelina had befriended the girl and gave the girl her own shoes, and AJ always performs barefoot until all the poor children have shoes, how adorable and humble that Angelina from a 6 year old???

great choice of song . she performs barefooted because during her travels with her parents she came across a girl about her age with no shoes after talking with the girl she learned that her family was poor and couldn't buy her shoes so Angelina gave the girl her shoes and told the girl she would not wear shoes when performing untill every child has a pair of shoes to wear.

I hope you read all of this. Loved the reaction. Couple hings: Priscilla Presley hairdo, Black leather suit that Elvis wore in 1968 comeback tour along with that red guitar. Don't think it is his guitar because it is going up for auction. Expected to start at $250,000 and fetch between $750,000 and $1 million. She does not weq shoes because when she was 6 years old she was in the middle east walking the streets with her mom and grandma. She met a 7 year old girl that was weighing people in the street for money. She had no shoes and scars on her feet. Angelina went up to her and made friends and gave her seafoam green boots to the girl. She swore at that time that she would not perform with shoes until all the kids in the world had shoes. She published a book about the impact she made on her. Youngest published author in Norway at age 9. Beautiful soul. Recommend "Still holding out for you: at age 10.
