The song needs the lyrics really, the feeling is this is about her Father who split from Sara I don't know the age but Angelina was young it hasn't been shared before but obviously this has been a difficult situation through her childhood and it seems he has manipulated the situation using Angelina and it has taken a good while for her to realise the truth of things and not blame herself , she has revealed this here as she feels comfortable enough with her angels who give her so much support and love , It was obviously difficult for her to sing it and hold it together so not the clearest audio but she is out the other side and AJ is here. Hence at the end she says WOW WOW WOW and we all realise why . It is a beautiful thing us and her .

Juliette's father left them a few years ago . Their is a short video where Juliette mention it and you could see she was very sad. There is also a short video where she is with her father, Gerry Slatmann, at a later stage. I think they were fooling around. Did anyone see Angelina's father. She must be very young when he left?

Not absolutely positive but think Jerry Slattman was her step father...only one who uses his name is Juliette. Regardless, very sad.

Yeah we don't know, lyrics suggest more a love interest. But a father could certainly give jewelry, have pictures. Either way, wow, wow, wow, could be about a new song, big deal, her expressing herself. We can't just dismiss the possibility she had a love interest, that she lived for a while thinking was a big deal, or her learning to live without and strengthen. That could easily be a big deal for her from that too.

Her father is more an ( home body) . Very busy with his job also… he as been there from her first night of Norway’s Go Talent. But this is a family of 3 young females. Beautiful too. I just think their new lifestyle was a bit he could not keep up with. He tried.

Nice reaction Zack. Parts of the concert felt like a personal AJ therapy session, especially before this song. We were there for her! She was more emotional and vulnerable than we'd seen her in her last 2 concerts. And while she's always had a preternatural sense of human emotion, you just knew that once she experiences more life experiences ... that is going to translate into yet another impossibly higher plateau of songwriting and singing. PS This WAS about her father /stepfather.

All I’ve read is that he is an engineer for an oil company and his job required him to be away from home a lot. I’ve read that he wanted to keep out of the spotlight so that’s probably why there are very few photos or video of him. He has apparently provided for them but it seems like he wasn’t always there for them. Probably a tough situation. Don’t know what other sources of income the family has. When the family moved to Los Angeles 6 years ago do we know if he moved too or stayed behind?

@SteveAckerman-ly3qg Yea there is a lot we really don’t know about her family. Some say Stattman is not her biological father. Some say Mery had been married before. Some say Angelina’s Japanese grandfather is not really Sara’s and Michael’s father although Angelina said that Sara is half Japanese. Also where does the Astar name come from? Mery’s name or maiden name? Angelina uses Astar but Juliette uses Stattman. We do know from an interview with Michael that he and Sara grew up in Japan (were they born there?) and later the family moved to Norway. Angelina and Juliette are Norwegian by nationality but not ethnicity.

She's referring to her father who left the family: she clearly went through a lot of pain and I think the song is very moving (and sad that she and the others in her close family had to go through it - though I guess it's not a very rare thing in the world). Ther performance is very unusual for Angelina I think: she doesn't project to the audience as she usually does and I think that is because the subject so personal and painful for her... I couldn’t get closed caption on my iPad either. Someone later posted all the lyrics in the comments, which helped immensely because I couldn’t understand her most of the time except when she was really loud. I think it must have been a love interest. No one else really fits. If so, she sure was able to keep it a secret!

We know Angelina's mother, Sara, divorced Gerald Slattman recently and Sara told a few angels at the meet & greet that "Thank You" was about Gerald. There were videos from Angelina's younger sister, showing her very upset over the divorce. Once, again Angelina puts a positive spin on a negative situation and that is a great lesson for all of us. Angelina has added reggae to her long list of genres she has sung.

These lyrics can be interpreted a number of different ways. I don’t think he wanted Jordan to be so involved in doing concerts all around the world at such an early age! Does he get a bad rap, and has Jordan possibly been exploited by Mery and Sara because of her unbelievable talents and her persistence to want to perform on NGT at such an early age? It’s very easy for one parent to turn a child against the other. I know, it happened to me.

As far as financial support: grandma Mery Zamani is a millionaire several times over and has been there with financial and loving support all of AJ's life. AJ's father, if he cared about AJ he would be in the picture and supporting her after the divorce, that is what caring people do.
