Love this AJ jazzy Christmas concert fantastic band and every song is my favourite version, which is pretty much the same with every song AJ sings. she has a purity, a sincerity and a depth of feeling that I have never felt from any other artist, music has become AJ for me .💗👣

Legendary Jimmy Z on Harmonica - He played harmonica and sax for Etta James for 16 years - as as well playing for Rod Stewart and the Eurythmics - The other musicians in this band are all Grammy winners or nominees and have played for Frank Sinatra and other big stars. Angelina deserves the best!

I'm glad to see her EP being spotlighted and promoted by playing these audio versions, but it's also worth watching the original videos of the four songs from the 2021 Christmas concert. They are all available on the Angelina Jordan Archives channel under the videos tab. You get to see the world class musicians who are accompanying her as well.

Dennis, we will have to believe starting the Christmas season in 2024 we will be hearing these Angelina Christmas song classics on radio's everywhere. Everyone of them are very special. Angelina is magnificent and the accompanied band behind her is made up of the finest musicians you can ever imagine, made possible by Rob Christi of Republic Records rounding up these superstar musicians. Btw, in interviews after doing these songs each one of them basically said it was an honor to play for Angelina. The respect she has from the folks in the industry is something to behold. They cannot believe the depth of knowledge she has inside her in every aspect of music. "MERRY CHRISTMAS", Dennis, to you and the entire family. This is a time to cherish wonderful memories never to be forgotten and create new ones with those around you now.

Jimmy Z on the fabulous harmonica, Victoria Fatu with that glorious piano, and Angelina Jordan with that crazy good smoky voice and jazzy delivery. From the livestreamed 2021 Christmas concert. The piano player on "The Christmas Song" was none other than: Victoria Fatu Victoria Fatu is a renowned pianist, composer and educator who has performed in prestigious venues around the world. She is known for her expressive and virtuosic interpretations of classical and contemporary repertoire, as well as her original compositions that blend elements of jazz, pop and ethnic music. She is also a passionate teacher who inspires her students to develop their musical skills and creativity. I don't believe the great Billie Holiday ever recorded Christmas songs, but thank God Angelina, after adopting so many inventive elements of Billie's singing, is able to bring them to Christmas songs that are just mesmerizing. The only other female singer who reached me as deeply as Angelina with regard to Christmas songs is Judy Holiday.
