That last performance was out of this world beautiful. I'm not sure anything will ever be able to touch its purity of heartfelt emotions...it was just sooooo... very beautiful. This is true love. I will forever be in awe of this young lady.

Most will say that Bobby Hadfield's solo rendition is 'The Gold Standard' and rightfully so. But here, Angelina brings forth more emotion laden penetration than Bobby in her most recent rendition at The Nobel Prize ceremony in Oslo, delivering what I feel is 'The Platinum Standard ' for the song.

You need to watch the full videos for the last four performances in the video you reacted to. You will find out that she was feeling the song in each of those performances. Angelina chooses her songs not just for the way they should sound but how they make her feel.

@@TroyArchAngel Yeah, essentially what I said in my comment. But I suggested to Jojo that he still - even though he did see a segment of the Tribute performance - take a look at it, but to watch the video I put together so that he (and his audience should he choose to record it) would get the true and full story of what is actually going on on that stage in front of the orchestra as she sings UNCHAINED MELODY in front of the two children who's Mother was awarded the NOBEL PEACE PRIZE as she sat imprisoned in Iran simply for advocating for Human Rights. And that bit that I just mentioned is but a small but important bit of the context the video will teach Jojo, as I am pretty sure you already know. 😇Jim

For me, there is something special about each time Angelina sang this song. Her version at 9 years old (video mistakenly said she was 10) has great feeling and I believe it is because she was on that TV show to be interviewed about her book, "Between Two Hearts" being published. Her version at the Nobel Peace Prize concert, conveys the love Nargas Mohammadi has for her twin children, who she will likely never see again, as well as the love for all the women of Iran. Nargas is still in prison, in Iran, for being an advocate for women's rights.

If you take the time to read this you will truly understand that AJ is the most extraordinary storyteller of our lifetime.*********************************** Unchained Melody Nobel Peace Prize Dec. 2023 Unchained Melody (AJ, at the age of 17 performed at the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony December 2023 in Oslo, Norway) I watched as Angelina Jordan stepped onto the stage, her presence commanding attention. The room hushed, anticipation hanging in the air like a delicate thread. She stood there, a young girl with an old soul, ready to weave magic with her voice. As the first notes of "Unchained Melody" filled the room, time seemed to slow. Angelina's voice wrapped around each word, infusing them with a depth that transcended mere lyrics. It was as though the song had been written for her, and her alone. The audience held its breath as she sang. Her voice soared, reaching heights that touched the heavens. The pain and longing in her eyes mirrored the emotions in the song-the heartache, the yearning. It was more than a performance; it was a revelation. The chorus came, and Angelina's voice swelled, filling every corner of the room. " Oh, my love, my darling I've hungered, hungered for your touch," she sang, and suddenly, we all felt the real meaning of the words. The magic in her performance was like nothing we had ever experienced in our lives. The lyrics came alive and had meaning as they flowed through us. In that moment, Angelina Jordan became a vessel for something greater-an embodiment of love itself. Her voice carried us beyond our own pain and loneliness. We felt connected-to her, to each other, to something intangible yet profound. As she held that final note, time snapped back into place. The applause erupted-a thunderous acknowledgment of what we had just witnessed. But it wasn't just applause; it was gratitude-for allowing us to glimpse love and longing through Angelina's eyes. And so, we stood there, hearts full, tears in our eyes. Angelina Jordan had given us something rare-a reminder that love exists even in our brokenness. And for those few minutes, we believed it with every fiber of our being.

@@LDP-i5n That was a Brilliant recalling of the Performance from the perspective from someone actually there . . . what an honor you must feel to have been there. And of course I assume you have an understanding of Narges Mohammadi's story and the circumstances in the room that day with her Children present, sitting just in front of Angelina as I understand it. So often reactors are asked to react to the Tribute performance, but there is so much to the context to this that it is a shame that nearly all reactors miss the actual Performance underlying. If you have not already seen it, there is a video I created to help tell the story of the 2023 Nobel Peace Prize and how Angelina fits within that story so much more closely than most realize. Hi Rick, wonderful analysis of the progression from child to adult. If you really like this particular song, there is a full video by James Thiel which is focused on the Nobel Peace Prize 18-year-old version. But it is a history of Angelina as she relates to the Nobel Peace Prize, and discussion of the meaning behind her emotion in this performance. It is very interesting!

Hey Rick, thanks for your response. I will look forward to that next video. Thanks also for remembering Tori. If you like her and want to see more, there are a few things I can offer. I can drop you a line and give you a few options and you can decide which ones and what order. I also have many other unique artists, and of course there are so many Angelina videos, now over 400 available! You have barely touched the surface. I'll be in touch. Peace out.

❤️❤️❤️❤️👣 Some songs she could sing as well as an adult at a very young age, others not so much. I would say that she was struggling more with the ability to sing what she heard in her mind with her small young body and that now the difference between the two is much narrower. I personally believe that she has always been a genius and a prodigy, but when you are working with a physical body that is less than half the size of those you are compared with you are at a disadvantage. This has gradually disappeared as she has grown into her current six foot one inch body. That and an extra 10 years of practice. Her singing At Last at 8 is as beautifully done as any adult i have ever heard sing the song. With this song the size difference shows up more. Her rendition of Crazy at 11 sounds better than Patsy Cline's to me. Just my two cents.

Unfortunately you missed 99% of the Nobel Peace Prize Performance, and I am not even talking about her actual singing of it, and you can't put the jack back in that box. In order to get the Essential perspective and context needed to interpret Angelina's UNCHAINED MELODY at the Nobel Peace Prize Tribute. I don't know how you got directed to an "Evolution" video, but that should likely be the last video a reactor should watch, as it essentially spoils multiple reactions by placing pieces of performances one-after-another. Jojo, if you have the time, please watch the video I created to more-completely tell the background story for Angelina's Nobel Peace Prize Tribute performance - there is SOOOO much more to the performance that what literally meets the eyes and ears. You need not react, unless you just feel like presenting the story to your audience as you learn about it yourself. Plus, the full Tribute performance of Angelina's is in there as well. Maybe you could record yourself watching it, and then choose whether it is added value to your audience. If you watch, please leave a comment, letting me know you stopped by. Thanks, 😇Jim kzbin.info/www/bejne/imfMood5hcp8fJY

@@B-Drags-Den I hope you do. You will learn a lot about Angelina the Person; we all know she is a Brilliant singer, but there is soo much more to her story and I look forward to seeing you learn as you watch. One thing I will say is to take your time, as the text telling the story is important and it can pass by a bit too quickly in places. You won't be disappointed I am sure, and you will never expect the ending - nobody does.
