If you watch at the end the applause was subdued. The entire theater was sitting spellbound after this performance; it was almost like being in a trance that you did not want to end. A rush of goosebumps. I never felt anything like that before in a live performance. It was beyond beautiful.❤

ANGELINA did two concerts in one day so that totalled 40 songs. To be able to do that she prepared really well, and it's spectacular, but there is something special about a less prepared Angelina. Where she doesn't have as much on the line so she has more freedom to extemporise. Her musical instincts are so beautiful the listener has the feeling of breathless anticipation of never knowing where she will go. It's equally as special and beautiful. This was her first Vegas show in the place where Elvis did his residency, the weight of that would affect anybody and she rose to the challenge. One of the things I am most looking forward to in the future with Angelina is when she's blown up and totally secure so that on stage with thousands she has that same freedom as in her room or in the parking garage.

Hi Paul. Massive, masterful control is one of her talents that has astonished reviewers ever since she was little. Her amazing ability to transition from chest voice to mixed voice to head voice, and back down again, and from full belt right back down to the softest, gentlest tones (what instrumentalists would call pianissimo), all instantaneously and apparently effortlessly, has always been astounding. This is one of the reasons that we "feel" her singing so deeply.

Teacher Paul ... Angelina in my opinion is clearly deeply inspired by certain lyrics of this song and how they relate to her recent life experiences over the last 5 years or so. She sings from her soul and heart. You could have heard a pin drop in the audience... in general the audience of about 1000 was mesmerized ...... and then the 18 year old young lady returns.

Adele is great. However, Angelina uncovers another song with her magical touch, it just sounds better with her vocals and she nails it! She also did this song when she was 13 during a concert in Norway and killed it then too! Thanks once again to James and the Angel crew! 🇳🇴🇺🇸

It looks like your intention to get some information in advance about the song itself and about the occasion Angelina performed it for was a good idea. Listening to this, can you imagine that Adele was struggling with writer's block at the time she wrote it and this song somehow solved that? Lyrically, it doesn't seem to fit Angelina, as it's about the fear of getting older and losing one's youth - fitting for a 25-year-old Adele. But when Angelina performed it at Proysenhuset in 2019, she was only 13 years old, not that much time to look back. But now, with a 10-year stage anniversary, things are different.

Teacher Paul, I have to say that after watching many of your Angelina reactions, the look on your face during this performance was like a little kid in a candy store! This is probably my favorite performance of hers from the concert although there were many. She has sung this several times over the years. I'm looking forward to more.

When you have a unique singer who can bring forth the penetrating emotion that her mentor, Billie Holiday, was known for, it simply separates her rendition from the excellent original by Adele. This is what a true 'jazz ' specialist on a level with Billie, can do regarding the receptors in the human ear.
