Then, the very next thing she sings can be as modern as the internet and AI. She is truly a marvel. I'm glad you like my recommendation so much, I had no idea that it brought back childhood memories. This one is often mistaken for a Sinatra cover as Frank has popularized it and performed it many times during his career. There's even a great fanmade mash-up video with Frank and Angelina. But in fact Angelina goes way back to the original here - as so often - for this is a duet from the musical film "Three little girls in blue" - that's probably why the blue dress and certainly the Gibson Girl hairstyle. The movie was released in 1946, but the plot of the movie was set into 1902. In the movie the duet was sung by the characters performed by Vera-Ellen and Charles Smith (with voices dubbed by Carol Stewart and Del Porter). Love the big band sound from the swinging 40s. btw, the last sentence in Wikipedia's entry for this song reads: “Ella Fitzgerald, Helen Reddy, Michael Bublé, and Angelina Jordan have covered the song.” Can you imagine how it feels to be mentioned alongside these greats from past and present, and not just only by fans?

Singing in a nightclub, yep, I can picture that. I can also picture her singing with a band in the 40's. (Btw, that had a lot to do with her hair style for this performance.)
